Hi All,
New to this forum. I started my GLP journey right after Covid. Was getting Mounjaro for $25 and was losing fast weight but the side effects were awful still I was going to keeep it up….well that ended quick. I couldn’t get approved via insurance and all. Tried compound Sema and then Tirz. Still lost some but it was still so expensive. Found my way to peptide talk and dove down that hole. I’ve been on Reta for 6 weeks now stacked a few peptides as well but still only down 4lbs. Now I’m here.

Happy to get advice and hear from others similar to me. 🤘😎

Welcome,
Glad you are working on getting dialed in and I'm sure you can find some like minded individuals to help you here!

4lbs in 6 weeks on reta is a little slow start but might be attributed to your stack.

What other peptides are you taking?

Glow, AOD, Mots and Tesamorelin. I did read that Tesa can make you slow to burn or even gain weight at first so I was thinking of leaving that off. Any advice?

I like the Mots and had considered the glow but was concerned about angiogenesis.

I believe it was @zpped that stated he does not believe in AOD and quoted the developer as it was a failed test, plenty of people seem to buy it though and I would rather let other comment on that one.
If I understand Tesa may add weight initially, I think @raw_oyster_eater struggled with a few stacks doing this.

I think some just don't respond well until dose increases but you are moving in the right direction at .75 lbs per week, it may pick up at a higher dose without any changes.

I'll let others more familiar with AOD and Tesa chime in here.

Personally I waited until 2/3rds of goal to stack and let the Tirz do my heavy lifting.

I just want to point out that you don't know what her dose or current body fat is. It's impossible to judge whats going on with as little information as we have.

AOD was abandoned by its researchers and we like to joke that the only people who lost weight on AOD were also taking Reta...

I'm a big fan of GH peptides. (includes tesa and the like) But they are not for beginners because you need to be getting lab work done and understand the risks you are taking. They do cause increased water retention in the first couple weeks of taking them as well that throws off your weight calculations.

I highly suggest you spend 3-4 months of just taking Reta. Learn how you respond to one medication at a time. Take lots of measurements, weight, waist, abdomen, thigh, etc.. regularly. If you're losing ~1lb every week (on average because your cycle will cause that to fluctuate as well) then you're on the right track. If you're still obese than you can try for 2lbs per week. Track your macros. Don't adjust your dose more than once per month and not more than 20% at a time. Track your step count/cardio. Move heavy things at least twice a week.

This is the best advice I can give you. If you're already doing these things I'd love to talk about other things that can be added.
