Hi there! I’m new to these forums but I’ve been reading and re-reading to absorb as much as I can trying to understand my own journey better and see how to make it even better. I’m almost 60, in heart failure with other heart related complications that make me susceptible to a very early exit. I’m looking for longevity and quality of life. I’ve been on tirzep for 11 months and down 86lbs. I appreciate everyone here sharing their experiences and thoughts, it’s very exciting as I’ve felt isolated this past year with the devastating diagnosis and being judged for using weight loss medication. My insurance does not cover WL meds so I’ve been out of pocket for 11 months and it’s not sustainable for much longer. I love the idea of having others in my corner who understand this journey and look forward to cheering others on too!!

Congratulations and welcome! It seems like you're doing great so far. I've been on tirz about 11 months also and have lost 88 lbs. I needed to lose weight so, my pcp put me on tirz last year. I'm a 54 yr old F and have a pacemaker. My cardiologist is aware and on board. The only problem is that my insurance won't cover GLPs for weight loss, even with my other issues. I started taking compound tirz at first and that became much too expensive. I'm doing what I can, the best way I can, and I'm feeling much better. You're doing so good now. I'm very happy for you and I wish you the best of luck!
