I'm considering making my own BAC water, as Hospira is hard to get in the EU. I found a good source for WFI and Benzyl alcohol, but when I search for sterile vials, I can't find anything that doesn't look bad and/or has negative reviews.
Clearly, not using sterile vials defeats the whole purpose of making my own BAC water.
Anyone can recommend something? Or is there a point in sterilizing vials myself (steam/boiling water/oven?)

Someone told me here to buy 'Aqua sterop 100ml' and add 1ml benzyl alcohol to the glass bottle and use it for several months if you work very sterile. Then you don't need extra sterile vials. I bought it in a Dutch webshop for medical supplies for about €2-3 a bottle.
Another tip I got was to buy 'Ampuwa 10x50ml' glass bottles per box. I think it is available in Germany but haven't bought that yet.

I use the Biomed/KS-Tec sterile vials. I've been a bit cheeky and sent Jano a sample in a couple of these vials; even after I filled them (as a pro, ofc 😉), the results didn't show any sterility or endotoxin issues.

But as @RaveBaddie says, you don't need to put your self-made BAC into smaller vials per se. Just get a 100ml bottle of sterile water for injections (Aqua Sterop or Braun) and you already have a sterile bottle. Just add the benzyl alcohol and you're done. Yes, you might have a bit too much BAC, but it's so cheap this way that even discarding 75% is still profitable.

Thanks, might do just that! Just to understand well, the sterile water for injections is normally in a bottle with a rubber self-healing cap? Otherwise, each time it's open, it would be subject to air contamination.

Discarding 75% you mean because it should be thrown away anyway after approximately 28 days? Do i understand it right?

Yes.

I discard the bac after 28 days. It's so cheap that I don't mind.

In reality I don't waste 75% of course.
I make 100ml bac (total cost ~€2,50) and only keep 20ml for myself. I also pass 4x 20ml to friends each month. So most of the time not much gets actually wasted.

But even if I would need to discard 75-80% it's only going to waste like €2.

Yeah, i got you, thanks, good to know, gonna try it out when I come back to Belgium. Almost running out of hospira, ty very much

195 tax excl. to Belgium. Jesus.

I've scoured so many websites across the entire EU for sterile vials and supplies and it really is difficult to source them.

Aliexpress is still ourt best option 🙁

I just checked shipping cost to my country, 160 USD by FedEx 🤪
Yes.. Total robbery....
But try to search in Europe if there is any store that sells ALK
My comment was above all to share what brand of empty sterile vials people can fully trust
I work in a place were I have access to them and sometimes what is difficult is to find a brand that is reliable.
Sorry guys for shipment prices are so bad..
