I’ve recently went through ACL surgery. Right now I’m 3 month post op. Started BPC-157 .5mg daily for about a month now, starting yesterday I incorporated tb-500 with BPC. I’ve been trying to go back to work ( I work a very physical job) and my doctor is saying to get back to “normal” I need 9-12 months recovery and PT.

I go to the gym almost every day, work on my legs ( especially my surgical one) and it feels great. But I’ve been doing some research and ligamentization takes roughly 9-12 months. Wondering if BPC-157 and tb-500 increases that process? And i don’t know if any of us are doctors, but can anyone help explain this to me? More specifically, and I’m not to take any medical advice online, but anyone can confirm it’s true and “ hypothetically” tell me a rough timeline of when I could be back to my full potential?

You would need Cartalax but mostly you will need collagen supplementation, 30 grams daily. Studies show that to be the best therapeutic dose.

Maybe kpv also?

Add this to the stack??
you can add Cartalax to the stack if you have fat enough near the knees, so that subq will be easy. You have to take oral collagen powder through liquids, either shakes or smoothies or just water. But in my view, you could benefit from IGF-1 shots as that's strongest signal for rebuilding cartilage. Here's the AI takeaway.

Insulin-like Growth Factor-1 (IGF-1) is one of the most critical growth factors for building and repairing cartilage. It promotes the creation of essential building blocks (like proteoglycans and type II collagen) while actively preventing cartilage degradation.
IGF-1 influences cartilage in a few distinct ways:
  • Cell Growth: It stimulates the proliferation of chondrocytes (the cells found in healthy cartilage).
  • Matrix Production: It prompts these cells to produce extracellular matrix components like proteoglycans, which give cartilage its shock-absorbing properties.
  • Anti-Apoptosis: It protects existing cartilage cells from dying off in inflammatory environments (such as in osteoarthritis).
Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1) stimulates the repair and building of ligaments and tendons. It actively promotes the proliferation of fibroblasts (the cells that make up ligaments) and accelerates collagen synthesis.
IGF-1 supports ligament and tendon health in a few key ways:
  • Collagen Production: IGF-1 directly triggers the production of Type I collagen, the primary building block of healthy ligaments.
  • Tissue Repair: During an injury, IGF-1 aids in all phases of the healing cascade by reducing localized inflammation and increasing tissue cellularity.
  • Mechanical Loading Synergy: Natural, localized secretion of IGF-1 in the body increases in response to mechanical tension (exercise). This intrinsic release helps ligaments adapt and thicken in response to progressive strength training

So it does the same as BPC is what I’m getting

Nobody can tell you that buddy. Some people swear they respond to bpc, and others say its worthless junk.

It works on rats. On people? Very little proof outside of bro science as far as I know. Ymmv
And horses apparently, its banned in wada. So?
