List of Vendors Pausing Operations (28 October 24')

Has anyone placed an order recently with Sigma? I am having issues with them responding... thanks.
QSC Sigma or Sigma Audley? If QSC I am waiting on two orders to be shipped. Tracy pops in daily on another forum I monitor.

Bitcoin and bank transfer, or Wise.
Bitcoin is fairly easy actually. If I can do it anyone can. And it opens up a whole new world in gray market activities.
You don't want to hang with the few companies that take credit cards, trust me. Every single company that takes credit cards goes under eventually.
What is it about taking cc’s that make companies go under? I’m new at this and the vendor I ordered from used PayPal. Hoping that’s not a bad sign

I'm just getting into Bitcoin. I'm buying on CashApp and sending from there. How are you guys doing it?

disclaimer: I've only bought crypto so far not sent but read guides. If anything is wrong feel free to correct me

This is a bad idea. Your cashapp account can get locked for sending to peptide vendors. You should have a self-custody wallet like coinbase wallet (different from coinbase itself) or exodus. You can buy on an app like coinbase (probably cashapp too - just send to your own wallet) but you need to send to the vendor from a self-custody wallet so it cannot get locked.

Vendors will also require a specific network to send the funds over, and afaik that's not something you can choose on cashapp. There can be multiple networks for different coins. Also, if you use something like CB wallet or exodus you can pay in USDC which is pegged to USD so there's no risk of what you sent not being enough by the time the vendor gets it.

This is all GREAT advice and the network warning really applies when using USDC and Coinbase in particular. "Base" seems to be their proprietary default network which is like sending crypto into a black hole with some vendors (QSC particularly). Using "base" seems like a no-brainer since it's free but Ethernet seems to be universally preferred (ETH-20). I sent $375 unrecoverable funds this way so plz learn from my mistake. Tons of others have done the same in the $1000's (you can see the black hole transfers in their Blockchain). There will be no sympathy from the vendor ("sorry dear you had bad purchase experience" 😂)

Often price lists don't have the most current acceptable methods of payment. It's best to not be impulsive and pay from a price list like I did. Instead ask when making your purchase specific acceptable payment methods and pathways.

Now you've got me spooked. I was buying Bitcoin to send to QSC. I have an Exodus wallet. I planned to purchase on Cash App, send it my Exodus wallet, and then on to QSC's BTC #. Don't want to pollute this thread, but if someone could advise me in PM I would be super appreciative!

what is a current vendor that
1. ships quickly
2. ships internationally
3. has no history of bad tests, etc.

I know the typical sentiment here is "do your research", but after several weeks of reading I don't feel like I've made much progress here.

Strike

It's an app. Lets you send and receive cash or Bitcoin, and easily switch between the two. Hook it up to your bank account and debit card* and wait a few days for everything to settle in the system. Load cash into Strike using your debit card, then use that cash to purchase Bitcoin, then send Bitcoin to whoever.

My eyes start to glaze over when enthusiasts start to go on about networks and wallets, but Strike has lower fees bc it runs on the Lightning network. You do pay a fee to add $ to Strike, but in general it's lower than cash app or god forbid Coin Base. I like that it's same day. I don't have the discretionary funds to establish a crypto slush fund just for peptides, but if you do, there's other options.

*using your debit card after intial verification gives you instant access, otherwise you'll be waiting. Yes it's legit. No I don't care that they ask for my social. Literally no one cares about my peptide habit, and probably not yours, either.

There isn't an overseas vendor that fits this description. Sorry. If someone tells you there is they are a lying shill. You want Skye or Polaris for that. Get a vial or two from them, then wait and sweat with everyone else. It's fun, I promise. 😉

You can also see if there is a crypto atm near you. I use one to put cash into my Coinbase wallet as crypto. Chase will not let you purchase crypto with debit or ACH just FYI they have blocked it before and sent me a message saying so. Not sure on other banks. I just started small and made sure it worked before putting a ton of money into it or making a huge purchase. I only put in as much as I need right before purchasing.

If there was one that met all that criteria, it would be the only vendor any of us ever used

notice how I didn't add "lowest price" as a requirement.
right now, I don't mind paying over market price for something dependable.

Strike gets around this because you're loading cash, not buying Bitcoin directly. The Bitcoin buying happens within the app. You can toggle back and forth between cash and crypto, and transfer within the app from one to the other.

I'm also very small potatoes. I'm buying a few kits here and there for myself only. People spending thousands every week or so, "helping" a network of friends and family, might need more cover than Lil ol me.

Eli Lilly? Sorry but I've got Mounjaro sitting in my fridge amidst a variety of gray and it's the one product I don't worry about purity, strength, sting or fentanyl residue (not that I've been deterred by the latter two)

It's gray market. Dark gray. By definition that means they can't conduct business in the regular way. Companies that take credit cards are typically new or ruthless or both. They WILL lose that ability eventually, and you pay a premium for it.

The old peptidesource forum had a good write up about why. That forum has moved and changed quite a bit, so I can't link to it, but here's an ancient screengrab of the best explanation I've found on the internet why buying gray market with a credit card is a bad idea for you, the consumer.
