Long Term Integrity of Vials

I am setup now with a manual (non auto defrost) chest freezer and a four year supply of Tirz. Something struck me that may be overthinking but let me throw it out here.

Based on Janoshik’s statements GLP1s in the freezer should last years (he suggested decades). What about the integrity of the vials, in particular the rubber stoppers? Could we be ignoring an important question in our methods of stockpiling? If the stoppers degrade it would defeat the entire process.

Again I know I am overthinking but what are your opinions?

Least of my worries. People storing substances in oil have more to worry about, and yet it doesn't come up that often.

For my longer term storage I plan on storing them in a vacuum container with desiccant.

There’s no meaningful light degradation in the freezer, nor high temps to age the rubber… it’s a thought I’ve had, but I haven’t found much reason to fret.

I used to work at a Michelin tire plant. We put the process rubber in the freezers to slow down degradation.

lol stop giving the peptide crowd ideas, these people are already afraid of how quickly they put water in their vials, or that some magic number of days exists whicn if crossed suddenly transforms their peptide from 100% effectiveness to 0%. Hell some people I’ve read posts from are afraid to shake peptides to mix them for fear of demolishing the peptide bonds with their brute strength
