Looking for help with transitioning from insulin needle to pen

I have decided to transition from using a 1ml insulin needle to an pen due to upcoming holiday travels. I currently have a Gansulin and Humapen Luxura and two Savvios on the way. I have purchased pre-sterilized 3ml vials from an Internet site. I am currently taking 7.5 mg which translates to 30 units (~35 mg with 1.4ml BAC) on the 100 iu syringe. Do the units on the pens correlate with the IU's on the 1ml syringe? How do I determine how many clicks to go (i.e. 30 clicks equals 30 iu's?)
