I'm a high dose Tirz veteran as well. For me, I tolerated Tirz well through 7.5mg; after that, I felt like I got hit by a train for the first three days after my Tirz pin. I couldn't eat or drink anything, and not in a good "oh my appetite is suppressed and I'm feeling good" way, but in a "well I haven't eaten or drank anything in 16 hours, surely this 8oz of water won't make me nauseous, but it somehow does" way. In stark contrast to my wife, who is on 15 mg Tirz and is doing phenomenally well.
Prior to Reta I added in CJC1295/Ipa twice daily, and Tesamorelin in the evening, to hopefully try and address some lingering visceral fat. These seem to increase my appetite, as expected, but it's generally not an issue.
When I started Reta, I went with a 2 mg pin 4 days after my Tirz pin. I just passed my 4th week on Reta, and have been titrating up quickly, 2 weeks with 2 mg, next 2 weeks with 4 mg, and this coming week I'll go to 6 mg. I've had no negative effects that I can see from the Reta, and I am so much more comfortable and happy on the lower dose of Tirz. I went from 12.5 mg down to 5 mg, and I'll be dropping to probably 2.5 mg for the next couple of weeks as I ramp Reta up.
My plan is to get on Reta exclusively and let the Tirz wash out over 5 or 6 weeks. I plan to be on Reta 10 mg by that point. If I'm dealing with any lingering hunger issues (my cycle with the GH secretagogues should be wrapped by then), I'll probably add Sema to the mix, based on the many positive experiences of people here with Sema and Reta.
In short, I have nothing negative to report by taking a more aggressive titration schedule with Reta while rapidly dropping the Tirz.
