This first paragraph is a bit unnecessary the main question is in the second paragraph.
I started reta to aid me through the second half of my cut, previously lost 10kg before reta but very gradually and only hopped on because it felt like I hit a block where I couldn’t lose more. With retatrutide I managed to drop another 10kg taking 4mg a week for 2 months. I have reached a physique im not happy with as I am pretty sure I am skinny fat and lost muscle during the reta cut because I feel I did not track my diet and protein.

The main question is I am skinny fat and on a 1 week break from reta should I continue reta to help with a body recomp and if so do you guys have any tips to target fat loss instead of overall weight loss or should i try doing a recomp without reta.

If you're not already doing so,
I think the best way to get rid of the skinny fat body is to lift weights. If you don't strength train, you will inevitably lose muscle as well, even if you consume a lot of protein. You can also add in testosterone, especially if your levels are low. I would keep taking reta if you have problems controlling your appetite. This is just my opinion.

I am currently strength training and since starting reta I have been consistently in the gym 5 days a week following a PPLxUL split although I have regressed by a small amount.

Ok that's great. I'd definitely consider adding in test or HGH, or both.

IF you havent had your levels tested I would really recomend not to start taking steroids. If you have and your test is low then look at true trt.

It sounds like you know whats needed, better diet and maybe work with a trainer for a while as 5 days can be a lot to recover from.
Not a med pro but been there done that.
