Mass suspension of vendor servers on discord

Someone please tell me why, in November 2025, we are still insisting on using Discord for peptide stuff? Discord is probably the most peptide/gray market pharm hostile platform around. Yet even after being "nuked", we continue to go back and start over there. Over and over again. If you repeatedly touch a hot stove after you've been burnt, at some point I have to question your intelligence.
I really hate Telegram though. Why do some servers show up different sections that I can click on to enter, and others don't except down the side? It annoys me that it isn't consistent.

Uh wha? It's just like Discord. Click on the server icon and go in. If there's a new message in that server, it'll push it to the top of your list.

Because it's the most universal version of a discussion/chat platform that we have so it reaches more people. It doesn't have to be the best to be the most reaching. Just like Facebook isn't the best social media platform if it's kind but if you want to reach the most people it's pretty much the platform of choice.

I think it's the same way with Discord. It's just been the known way to communication for lots of things to include more underground topics and is well-known by more people. It sucks that most of the popular versions if an item tend to sit stagnant in terms of development or advancement, adopt overly authoritarian rules/regs or in many cases both but that's the way it is almost exclusively.

It would be nice if the better thing always became the most popular thing but humans are creatures of habit and the ways it's "better" are rarely enough to get the average human to change what they do. This is also why these platforms can slowly evolve into cesspools with impunity because it takes a lot to unseat the king since most humans just stick w/what they know.

It's different in different servers.

In the Euro peptides server, if I click the icon I get taken to one of the channels and have to change channel by clicking along the side.

In the UK server, if I click the icon I get shown a menu of the channels and can click into and out of each one.

Why have different mechanisms? It annoys me.

That's just how they set up the Telegram server. Almost no vendor has their's set up like that, besides JEEP.

My "why" was more rhetorical than actually asking why, so yeah... But the fact of the matter is that Discord is clearly hostile to peptide discussion. My account was temp suspended once for being part of a nuked peptide Discord, with a warning that the next one would be a perma ban. I need my Discord for other stuff. There are other platforms out there while maybe not as big and widely known, are infinitely safer to discuss peptides on, and are good enough to do the job. Using Discord for peptide talk right now is just plain stupid and we need to move past that.

I think we're in agreement but with no real way to change anything, unfortunately. Discord is just the most popular platform so it's the one that gets used the most. Nothing new there.

It's also why the heat exists though. The powers that be don't understand this stuff as well as they'd like us to think. As such, they apply the resources to the most popular outlet as common sense would tell us that this would yield the most impact from the same resource pool. Then, once that one has been squashed, they'll move to the next as it's now the largest. This may be TG, it may something else by then. I guess what I'm saying that wasting time bemoaning why we don't use something else universally is pointless since that would then become the target of their efforts if it were.

I don't know what the better solution is other than either developing a platform that is quite literally just for that purpose but it would most certainly become the primary focus with much easier ability to shut down if that was it's only use. The only other option would be to change the laws against these grey market meds but that's probably also not likely anytime soon, sadly.

When you think about it, it's all just some sort of work-around loophole anyway so I'm just glad we have it, no matter how much I like or dislike how it's implemented.

Because "comfort". Many people don't want to learn or get used to a new platform. However, there are platforms out there where one isn't going to get nuked and where you can build bots, automate actions, still have chats for those who want to chat (albiet it does look a little different, but it's there and real-time "chatable" and forums and etc etc etc.... just got to get used to it. It's also not "free" - meaning some funds will be needed if you want your own place that is free from threats of nuking.....
