I luckily don't have any issues with my weight or glucose. However I'm into biohacking and given the wide ranging benefits of GLP-1 drugs, I want to start a microdose of Retatrutide (thinking starting a 0.2MG weekly) just for its metabolic and anti-inflammatory benefits, is anyone else doing this? What's your dose and experiences been like?

I'm taking 1.5mg Tirz weekly for health benefits. That's a microdose for me. I'd think twice about using Reta for this, not sure long term glucagon agonism is a good thing.

Hi can you elaborate on the last part? What issues might arise from long term glucagon agonist?

metabolic and anti-inflammatory benefits
You don't think there are better choices for this? you researched this and Reta seems like the ideal compound for what you want?

From a biohacking standpoint, Tirz makes a lot more sense than Reta. Tirz seems to have benifits unrelated to weight loss, at this point Reta has not been shown to have the same benifits. At low doses, Tirz also seems to behave differently than Reta. Reta seems to have less impact on the GLP and GIP receptors and obviously this is what Tirz targets. Also, Reta is harder on the system.

From a dose standpoint, it is hard to believe .2mg would do much. All the benifits we have seen have been at much higher doses and even at those doses, the benifits, when you control for weightloss, seem to remain but may not be that large. Its all guesswork but it seems like at least 1mg would be a reasonable place to see benifits.

I've hear rumors Lily is planning to fund studies specifically for longevity purposes of Tirze but it will take time and as someone has mentioned the dosage will be key here because the evidence they have so far are related to doses that will also induce weight loss. Which would maybe be unwanted for people looking for longevity only.

I have two friends, one old and one middle-aged who were put on low dose Tirz long term for the cardiac benefits, by their respective cardiologists. Both doing well on it, dropped a few pounds, docs happy with blood work.

Another factor might be the shelf life of the reconstituted reta since it's going to take quite a while to work through a standard 10 ml vial at that dosage. BUT, I'm really a newbie, and I've heard different views on reta shelf life, so I'll leave it to others to step in and correct me if this won't be an issue.

This is what you're talking about looks like in a .5ml syringe. 10mg-1ml BAC and you get 50 doses.Low dose.webp

I am normal weight, live a fitness lifestyle, and have used Tirz at 1-2.5mg per week for years. I have never been overweight or diabetic but am able to be 5lbs lighter @ 123lbs than my body’s natural setpoint seemed to be around 127-130lbs. Almost everyone at my crossfit gym are on glps to increase overall leanness and most have never been overweight.
