I am on a 2nd cycle of motsc and after using the 2nd last dose of a 10mg vial using 2.5mg. As soon as I started to rub the injs I started to heave violently for a few mins. .I wasn't vomiting just dry heaving. I became very hot and the injs had multiple hive like lumps around it. When I stopped heaving I took a antihistamine 10mg pill had a sit down and started to feel better the hives went away and even the normal red itchy lump I normally have for a day was gone. The experience was a bit of a shock. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Only with muscle injections, sub q not really. Sounds like you may have hit a vein

People have been known to have severe allergic reactions to Mots-c. They can be immediate or build up over time with use. It sounds like you had one and it's your body's way of saying STOP. Your reaction was local, but vomiting and hives are systemic and a warning. I wouldn't do it again. Sorry.

I just don't believe that MOTS-C is an "almost always harmless for almost all people" pep like a lot of them. I know it's popular and I'm not here to yuck anyone's yum, but enough people have had enough unexpected and very unpleasant days after trying it that I feel like the safety protocol for that one ought to start with "1. Make sure someone who loves you and knows how to dial a phone is home and knows what you're doing."

I had a very similar experience. Ran several vials of a Mots-C kit with no issues. Took two months off and then started a new cycle with the same kit, same dose I left off with. Immediate histamine reaction. Severe hives/welts and itching all over both sides of my abdomen. Took several hours for it to dissipate. I dropped the dose, and this reduced the reaction, but did not totally eliminate it. Josh Holyfield just released a video about this issue, and it seems that with at least some peps, our bodies build up an immune response to it that is kept at bay while we are actively using the pep, but once you stop and then restart it, the immune system response will make itself known. In the video, he indicates that you have to drop the dose and titrate up over time. This is not something I am interested in, if my body is building an immune response to the chemical, I am not going to push the issue. Mots-c is off the menu for me.

Two weekends ago, I ended up on the floor. It was the last 2 mg of the last vial of the last box I had. After injecting it, I felt the urge to go to the restroom because I was feeling like my intestines wanted to leave my body. On the loo, then the heart started pounding, hands and upper body started tingling, and I wanted to lie down in my office across the hall at home. Felt that I won't make it to the bedroom. Collapsed on the floor and had to stay there for 10-15 minutes. Apple Watch reported Afib during that night.

Shit was crazy.

So this happened on Friday. On the Monday before that, I had a severe skin reaction to Mots-C.

Please stay safe, everyone!

What Random said. Honestly most people using MOTS-C are probably going to be fine, but the short time I’ve been reading, the only reactions I’ve read about come from pinning it.

Thanks to Someone who posted this in an earlier thread, it sounds much more pleasant than an epipen.
Neffy intra nasal epinephren. You should get this before pinning that again..but I recommend that you Do Not pin that motsc gain.

Note also go to ER if having severe reaction the epi may not last long enough.

What you're describing looks a lot like a vagal episode after the injection.

I've had several of these due to metformin. When I mentioned it to my doctor, he told me not to stand up, to wait for it to pass, and to elevate my legs if possible.

Atrial fibrillation requires a consultation with a cardiologist.

This, in a nutshell, is why I'll never try MOTS-C - just heard too many stories like this of people suddenly having out-of-the-blue severe allergic reactions.

If there is even a reasonable chance it was a systemic allergic reaction, and it sounds like it could have been, the only remotely safe option is to stop using it. A small or medium or unknown risk of anaphylaxis is not an acceptable risk.

Mots-c is obviously highly immunogenic based on the extremely high rates of localised injection site reactions, so it would not be unusual for it to cause generalised reactions as well, There is minimal human clinical trial data to draw on , just forum information, but probably better safe than sorry.

Holy fuck.

This thread made me thinking...got a full kit of Mots-c in my freezer and willing to start with, in about 2 weeks...on the other hand 20-30 years ago I was stupid enough to inject "under steroids" manufactured probably in some basement full of rats, just next to the pile of coal or something, and still alive 😆

I blasted 10mg of motsc 3x per week. No issues...but also no results. All you lucky people getting something out of it.

But yeah, don't mess with it when your body is telling you not to mess with it.
i tried it
the golf ball lumps came with it ...
i dont call it luck ! 😆

Just do 1mg dose
dont do the 2,5 or 5mg dose
for me everything went to crap when i started 2,5+ dose

Has anyone heard of a reaction from intra-nasal Mots-c.

Fear of the ISR has me trying that approach, as my first supply was in a nasal bottle and I had noticed instantly the effects so I just kept going with that approach.

Mots-C is 2174.6 Da. That's about twice the molecular weight of what a peptide should be to cross the BBB efficiently for absorption. I think whatever you're getting is the amount being absorbed by the mucosa before the majority is broken down by enzymatic action. You may be getting a just fraction of what you spray and are probably feeling that.

Same here. I've got the full kit in the freezer, but will likely never try it. I'm okay with managing my sometimes welts and itching with GHK-cu, as I know that is worth the effort and mild discomfort. But Mots-c is so edge case for folks who've had success, I just don't want to even risk any reaction for what will probably not even be a measurable benefit to my health.

Fortune favours the brave 😁 But I get your point of view.

Yes not as efficient, however it is working and no ISR or anaphylaxis so far.

Yikes! I take 500mcg Mots no problem.
Interestingly enough, I just started microdosing Tirz and almost immediately after the 0.5mg pin, my right lower back got a sudden pain. It lasted 3 days and faded. I thought maybe it was a muscle spasm so I pinned 0.5mg 4 days later and sure enough, again! It got me worried so I searched all forums for similar reactions. Another girl who microdosed it and ended up in the ER with the same symptoms and was diagnosed with kidney hydronephrosis.
So here I am in urgent care as I type this. Urine and blood samples plus kidney ultrasound for now. The doctor doesn't seem to think it is related, but it seems otherwise. I felt it right after the pin plus that other anecdotal.

This is after Tirz? Wow.

Yes, a microdose of tirz! I though maybe something else did it so I re-attempted. Same pain again. Weird, right?!
