My power bill is lower thanks to tirzepatide.

Not only am I saving money on food since starting tirzepatide, but my power bill is $95 cheaper this cycle than it was same time last year.

At 235lbs, I cranked that bitch down to 65-68° as soon as the outside temperature got slightly warm and the poor thing would run all summer. My AC has been off for the past 2 months, I open the windows at night and haven't really thought about it much.

We got home from work tonight and my boyfriend was like, what is going on in this house, are we living in a sauna?! And I'm like whatchu mean? It was 74° in the house and I didn't even register it. 🤣

And I'm sure this will ruffle some feathers on both sides of the thermostat, but I did open some windows and it's down to 70° in here now and I just got out my Snuggie.

I haven’t compared power bills, but I’ve noticed I’m more comfortable at 72° now vs 68° last year during the warm season. In the winter I’d let the house get down to 62°.

This weekend I was cold at a venue, wished I had a long sleeve or hoodie,

I like it, I’m looking forward to seeing if it makes working outside this summer more enjoyable.

my cars AC unit is no longer rumbling in fear under my weight and need for freezing air in the summer.. and dont get me started on the food bill.. 100s less..

I've always run cold. Was shocked how hot I was when I got fat. I still need a fan or something running when I sleep or I overheat and I'm well within HWP. Thanks menopause.

Haven't seen the power bill yet, but I have noticed as spring approaches here in the NE.

I would be miserable when the bedroom was 75ºF last summer. The other night, it was 75ºF when I went to bed, and felt very nice.

Looking forward to being less miserable this summer!

On the flip side, this past winter was a struggle. I missed the majority of it due to work (gone 3 mo's), but what little I did catch was spent focused on the wood stove; hauling wood, chopping wood, stoking the fire, moving the recliner ever-closer...
