My wife has had questions about what Im doing with so many needles.

I just tell my wife this: "what did I tell you about my business, that it's none of your business."

Seems to work out. No more questions...or anything...

I had to look up MTHFR up cuz I wondered how one would check for it other than whether people avoided you when walking down the street...
I wish I knew how to do other emojis than thumbs up, because this gave me a surprise out loud laugh on the flight I’m on, haha

I spent some time dabbling with ChatGPT regarding my stack, and after quite a bit of back and forth I asked it to help me explain everything to my wife... Here it is for your reading enjoyment.
It wasn’t the easiest conversation with my wife either. I’ve been clean & sober for 13 years and was trying to explain to my wife how I would be injecting myself daily. It didn’t matter that it was in the stomach. I can only imagine what she heard when I was saying it lol. It took a bit to get her onboard and understand. She’s all for it now but it got a little tricky there for a bit, lol. I should of wrote her an essay 😂

My first few peptide buys were ones I had been familiar with already. At the time, I used plain, white, 14x40 mm labels, black print, with the name of the peptide followed by the mg in vial, a dash separating the two pieces of information. I was so proud with myself! Of course, my wife saw…

Semax-10
NAD-100.

I very quickly explained that it isn’t what it sounds like (do you ever NOT sound guilty saying that?)

Now, she inherently trusts that I’ve done reasonable research around what I’m taking. Knows I take harm reduction seriously. I can’t imagine the level of explaining you had to do! I wasn’t super familiar with IV routes before, never knew sometimes the same needles used for peps “can” be used for that. I got a quick education with some of the harm reduction stuff I’ve been involved with.

Congrats on the 13 years, the wife having, and wellness journey!

Thank you! Yes, it’s interesting. Same needles I’ve used, well, for other things. The life I have today is so amazing that it never even registers in my mind though. That life doesn’t even seem real to me anymore. Have a blessed day. Keep up the good work with the harm reduction stuff! I work in the recovery field as well. Over 10 years now.

It's reversed here. I do all the research, crypto, ordering, reconstituting, loading pens, and finally sticking a label on the pen with dosing intruding. He takes 3 different peps and I take 5. I have explained what each of the peps he takes is for and he rolls with it. He gives me the side eye when he sees me with my pile of daily pens but he knows I have researched thoroughly so he doesn't say anything. After the improvement the peps gave him he is fully supportive and I am now waiting for him to start wanting to dip into my stash of faves (he's been hinting alot about the MT1)

Now you have me down a rabbit hole, testing for peptides! Sure, it has to be doable since a lot are banned by sports groups and stuff... But for things where they are naturally produced anyway (and athletes are often crazy young), what are they looking for? Just really high numbers?
If they just ask about my previous lifestyle, dropping dead before 60 was a logical conclusion. There wouldn’t even be any investigation 😅
