I just received a kit of NAD+500; is 25mg a good starting dose? How much do people here typically take? Does anyone have any advice around this peptide? I hear that you shouldn't freeze this peptide, is that correct?

My experience with this peptide so far (9 pins, concentration 3ml bac for 500mg)
--Felt nothing at 25 mg
--Felt some slight "whoosh" feeling at 50 mg, with a little chest tightness after that could 50/50 have been anxiety over being afraid I'd feel some chest tightness
--Felt slightly stronger chest tightness at 100mg, which also could be based on being afraid that I'd feel some chest tightness
--it definitely hurts when I push the plunger. I'm using Gray Asіx vials, which appear to have been purchased from Uther and resold, and are buffered. It still hurts. Not badly, but it spooks me every time, which I suspect is what's making my chest feel a little tight, because I'm scared when I push the plunger and feel pain.
--The hurt isn't intense, just an ache.
--I do feel a knot for a few days after, but it's not sore.

It KILLS when I push the plunger. I must have it too concentrated. Going to drop down and add more bac. You are not alone with the pain and spooking!!

I worked my way up to 100mg and that's my standard dose now. I mix it so 20 units = 100 mg. It used to sting a bit but I feel nothing now.

Are you using buffered NAD+ ?
YES, buffered! Okay, today I found the secret. I added an additional 4ml bac and cut my dose down to 50mg. SO MUCH BETTER. This I can do three times a week. Will wait a month to go up to 100 or so for each shot. I just do NOT enjoy pushing a lot of fluid. So I made it too concentrated. I have learned. Oh, man, did I learn!! 🤣🤣

You're not making me feel warm and fuzzy about this. I am looking to the mitochondria repair protocol after I get through this GHK-Cu cycle. I'm at the age where I'm sure it's long last time to repair. LOL

Yeah, the mitochondrial protocol wasn't for me. I noped out in mid January, two weeks before the end. The motts-c was leaving some pretty gnarly knots. Two of them are still there; I can feel them, like hard lumps. I'm sure they're not permanent, one of them is gone and the other seems like it's shrinking, but I'm still pretty freaked out, and done trying new non-glp1 peptides. If I haven't already tried it, I'm not going to. Just klow, epitalon, SS-31, and glp-1's for me, that's plenty.

Also, I don't know why my post says "QSC vials," I think maybe my autocorrect got me. Gray Asіx vials, I've never bought from QSC.

Edit: oh, apparently Gr e y Ax I s corrects to QSC. I didn't know they were connected, though I'm guessing that's what that means.

No luck with NAD+? I'm surprising myself by my interest to try other peps. GHK-Cu is jury still out. I'm only 4 weeks in.

I started at 25mg, then did 2x doses of 25mg now just do 50-75mg per day and I really feel it at the higher doses, can take on the cold it makes me warm, did an ice bath after a 75mg dose and beat the bath houses icebath record by 2mins

I'm loving NAD+ so far. Have been taking 75mg daily for 3 weeks. Noticeably more energy, mood is better and most surprising has nicely dropped my blood pressure. Seem to be feeling a little bit better every day I take it.

Are you pinning your NAS+ SQ or IM?

NAD+ and GHKcu are some of my two favorites! Always have a supply of these hanging around.
I started at 25mg every other day...now I'm doing 50mg every other day as that seems to be my sweet spot.

On my third pin of NAD+ 1000 (reconned and filtered with 5ml BAC into 5ml vial). 80mg dose(40units) 3x/week. Get a nice “woosh” upon injection, no pain/lump/ISR.

I have to pin it IM. Originally tried SubQ 6 months or so and didn't feel much for some reason, though maybe I'll try that route again at some point just to double check.
SubQ = slower absorption so not surprised you get a bigger, faster rush doing NAD+ IM.

For any volume 1 ml or less, seems like consensus has trended to the POV that SubQ is preferred pin method. Even for AAS that were historically an automatic IM pin. SubQ testosterone pin demonstrates slower, even absorption, smooths out peaks and valleys and minimizes aromatization.

Trial and error.....nothing wrong with that approach. 🙂

Never said anything about bigger, faster rush doing IM. I simply never felt much of anything doing it SubQ. IM I've had a nice boost in energy, cognition and mood wise that lasts all day.

Never had any of those benefits SubQ.

I agree that T works really well SubQ.

I am on week 4 of that Mitochondrial Enhancement Protocol. It starts you with 25mg NAD+ twice per week and titrates up to 100mg twice a week gradually. I felt nothing at 25mg twice a week so on week two I switched to pining it three times a week (mon/wed/fri). Did 25mg three times didn't feel anything. Then went up to 50 mg 3 times a week and still can't report anything noticeable. Next week going to 100mg and hope for some effect there. There is some discomfort in the pinning area for first 20-30 minutes for me but it goes away quickly. I am planning to add less BAC when I go to 100mg since I don't want to pump so much fluid per shot (100 units). Hopefully it won't be too concentrated.

My rat pins 100mg of NAD+ three times a week or more. No more flushing or burning after the first week for my rat but he says the energy burst is almost addictive.

Ok I just ordered NAD plus 500mg bufferd. Im currently researching tirzepatide. So I'm looking for the NAD. To aid with better conversion of food to energy. And maybe a little pep in my step. Since I'm really trying at a healthy diet and exercise life changes.

I will start by following the attachment. From member Wxmanbc at the beginning of this thread.. thanks wxmanbc

3ml of bac water to 500mg of bufferd NAD+
Weeks 1 and 2 5mg 2x week
Weeks 3 and 4 50mg 2x week
Weeks 4 plus 100mg 2x week

I don't think I'm ready to do any muscle injections. So this will be subcutaneous.

Any suggestions on where?
I'm thinking the thigh? But if it's way more effective in the stomach. I'll do it there as well. But was wanting to keep tirz and nad locations separate.

If you all see anything berong above let me know.

Thanks
