Hello people. Everyone here has been so helpful to me so far in my journey and I need help with something extremely important.

My father in law had really bad shoulder, arm and hand pain which apparently was caused by compression of the cervical spine.

He went for surgery-
ACDF (Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion) is a common, generally safe surgical procedure to treat neck pain and nerve compression by removing a damaged disc from the front of the neck and fusing the adjacent vertebrae

The surgery didn’t go as planned and he is now much worse.

He now has SEVERE spinal compression at all levels of the cervical spine. Damage to the radial nerve (we think) from the surgery which causes his right hand issue (unable to make a fist, very limp). Loss of mobility in right leg, intermittent weakness and numbness in left leg. Pain still in left shoulder, arm etc as per pre-op

He has been to physio and not much is working.

I am wondering if people here could recommend what peptides might help??

Literally our last shot in the dark here as we have tried everything else.

I know the usual ones like BPC, TB500 etc are good for injuries but I remember reading about a celebrity, Jeremy Renner, who was in a serious snow plow accident and was on things like Mots-c, Thymosin Alpha and more I can’t remember so I thought there might be some good ideas from you guys.

Obviously I know this is risky and all but things can’t get much worse for him in my opinion.

Thank you all in advance.

I’m sorry he’s having to deal with that. I can only imagine how this has negatively impacted his life.

I’d personally look into KPV first (ahead of BPC or TB4) as it’s wonderful for inflammation, which he likely has plenty of following surgery and all of these ongoing issues. It can help with pain relief pretty quickly in my experience.

You might also study up on ARA-290 a bit as well. If any of his ongoing pain is nerve pain, that may be something to explore.

Best wishes you to both.

Thank you, I’ll be sure to check these out. I really appreciate the help

Wow, that is such a terrible outcome. My husband had ACDF 9 months ago. He had a rod placed in both the front and back of his neck. He still has numb fingers and takes quite a bit of pain reliever and flexaril. He doesn't have the acute pain your FIL is experiencing. It really sounds horrible.
I don't have any suggestions for peps because I'm brand new. I'm just here to say I'm so sorry he's not had a positive result . 🥺

Thank you for your kind words regardless 🙏🏼

I have no recommendations to offer; I don't know enough about these things. I wanted to offer support to him and to you to find supportive care and recovery. I can't imagine what this must be like for him to live with and for you to bear witness. *Warm hug

First, prayers for healing and strength lifted.
BPC157/TB500 ("wolverine" blend/stack) could well be something that would help. My wife and I saw great changes and relief in both acute and chronic soreness/pain issues (we're both near 60, blue collar folks with 'work life" wear and tear on top of more intense injury stuff). There are MANY other peps that could also help but I'm hesitant to suggest others without knowing more about the subject patient (and really not qualified to do so either) but would suggest that if he were willing to start a Wolverine regimen or something more on the innocuous side of the scale then he and you and whomever else may be interested can explore the other options more in depth to ascertain whether or not he's willing to research (pin sticking research ,not web browsing) some of the other things available. Either way, bless you for seeking the help too!

I really appreciate your response. I’m aware that a lot of people might be hesitant to give their opinion in case they feel unqualified but I’m just looking for places to look. I obviously wouldn’t just blindly start putting him on peptides I haven’t researched the hell out of.

Wolverine stack is certainly ly the first thing that came to mind alright.

I’m hoping someone else here might have some other ideas or experiences that may apply also.

Thanks again for your recommendation and your thoughtful words.

I'm 100% certain you have his best interests in mind, Porc! I think there is a TON of signaling crossover in this peptide science (i may be stating that incorrectly, go figure) so starting a wolverine stack would be a very safe starting point (barring any as yet unknown/undisclosed specific barriers) and from there it gets even better with more specific targeted goals/tools-

I had this exact same procedure many years ago. I'm so sorry to hear about your father not getting relief from the surgery and is in even more dire straights.
I will say, even after surgery the radiculopathy down my arms (tingling/numbness) extended into my hands.
I put myself on an individual vial KLOW stack and I did notice that my numbness in my fingers decreased about 60% so that was a big win for me. I have also noticed my pain flare ups in the neck haven't been nearly as frequent, and when they do, it they don't last as long.

I decided to take the month of March off of just about everything for a reset and some of these aches and pains are starting to return a bit...but the numbness has not gone back up (at least two weeks into this hiatus).

Sound like this is a Hail Mary type of situation. What can it hurt? Only your dad can answer that one. For me, anything that can increase my mobility and reduce pain, w/o being a narcotic, is a big win.

What a horrible situation to be in... For you as well as him. I'm too new to the peptide world to offer any suggestions over what others here already have. It occurred to me that you may want to bounce your plans off his medical team before proceeding and it wouldn't hurt to consult with an attorney, much as I hate lawyers and not real thrilled with Dr's either. I had a spine surgery that didn't go according to plan. Good on you for asking...

Thank you. I’ll definitely start with the glow stack and see how that goes.

I'm very sorry to hear about your father in law's outcome. I don't know about the laws in Ireland, but do they have something like medical malpractice lawsuits there? There is almost no way a simple discectomy and single level fusion should lead to ALL of this nightmare scenario.
