Hi y’all! New to this and Reta. Previously on Sema for about a year, 50lbs down and lost insurance coverage and had to pivot! Gained10lbs back found Reta and this place. Just ordered 24mg waiting to receive. Tried a 10mg Reta 1st and it’s doing nothing for me! I’m hoping for better results this time. I’m not good at math so it’s real confusing. How much BAC should I use for the 24mg? 3mL?

free online calculator for peptides. 10mg is high starting dose for reta. 8-12mg recommended in studies for maintience dose

Oh gosh! I thought 10mg was the amount of liquid. Not the potency. So 24mg Ret is potency not amount of liquid? 😩
I used a calculator and If I put 3mL to reconstitute I inject .12mg or 12 units? Right? To start 4th week.

You definitely need to read a lot more about reconstitution and drug concentration. You're at risk of hurting yourself. Learn the difference between mass (mg) and volume (ml or units).

After you understand that you need to look up what the normal dosage of Reta is. (2, 4, 6, 9, 12mg)

In your current situation, adding 3ml to a 24mg vial gives you a concentration of 8mg per ml. 12 units (or 0.12ml (not mg)) is 0.96mg.

I definitely will read more! Thanks for all the info! It’s not math-ing in my head! Since I don’t math! 🤪

The link in my sig will explain how to figure out the math. Go through it a step at a time with a calculator and I bet it will make sense.

Calculators are great and I use them too, but it is important to understand what they are doing for you. A dosing error could be costly unpleasant or both!
