Hi everyone,

I’m new to the forum and just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I’m so grateful to have found this space. It’s clear that this community is full of knowledge, support, and people who genuinely care about each other’s journeys. I’m here to learn, share, and connect with others who are exploring or currently using GLP-1 medications. Like many of you, I’ve come to recognize how powerful these tools can be, but I also understand how important it is to approach them responsibly. I want to be upfront about my personal values: I’m deeply committed to safety and harm reduction. For me, that means doing thorough research, listening to others’ experiences with empathy, being honest about both the benefits and the risks, and never encouraging anything that could put someone’s health in jeopardy. We all deserve to feel empowered in our choices, and that includes having access to accurate, respectful, and judgment-free information.
Thank you all for creating a community where people can talk openly about these things. I look forward to contributing and learning from each of you. For a bit of background, I’m a retired Registered Nurse, and even though I’m no longer practicing, my commitment to health, evidence-based care, and supporting others on their path has never left me. I’m here with an open mind and warm heart. šŸ’–Janet

Hi Janet! I think you'll find a community of like-minded folks around here. In fact, I've been shocked at how many nurses, doctors and other medical professionals are in this space and others with the same focus. Makes one think hard about insurance and regulatory practices that have made gray the most viable option for so many. I could go on and on but won't. Anyhoo, welcome!

You’re spot on! I recently retired from nursing, and am here because the compounding pharmacy was tooooo cost prohibitive. Anyway, I’m struggling with Crypto right now. 😩🤣 Thank you for the welcome! šŸ’–šŸ’–šŸ’–šŸ’–šŸ’–šŸ’–šŸ’–
