Hi everyone,
Iām new to the forum and just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. Iām so grateful to have found this space. Itās clear that this community is full of knowledge, support, and people who genuinely care about each otherās journeys. Iām here to learn, share, and connect with others who are exploring or currently using GLP-1 medications. Like many of you, Iāve come to recognize how powerful these tools can be, but I also understand how important it is to approach them responsibly. I want to be upfront about my personal values: Iām deeply committed to safety and harm reduction. For me, that means doing thorough research, listening to othersā experiences with empathy, being honest about both the benefits and the risks, and never encouraging anything that could put someoneās health in jeopardy. We all deserve to feel empowered in our choices, and that includes having access to accurate, respectful, and judgment-free information.
Thank you all for creating a community where people can talk openly about these things. I look forward to contributing and learning from each of you. For a bit of background, Iām a retired Registered Nurse, and even though Iām no longer practicing, my commitment to health, evidence-based care, and supporting others on their path has never left me. Iām here with an open mind and warm heart. šJanet
