All good and well but I will tell you one thing with my own personal effect. Non of these Glp1s actually reduced my fasting blood insulin numbers. There was a period of time where sema actually increased my fasting insulin 3x!
I’ve always had relatively high fasting insulin like around 21 and sema bumped it to like 64. Whatever the unit of measurement here is in Australia. Then I went on tirz and no reduction of my blood insulin. Now on reta and still no reduction of insulin. Which goes to show you what? No improvement in my insulin sensitivity. I am still insulin resistant.

Im not actually diabetic as I have been tested but my dr told me I am prediabetic. Now here is the funny thing, once I started metformin about two months ago, guess what?

My fasting blood insulin is now only 11!!! I have again started dropping the pounds! I was on a nasty plateau the last 5 months with intermittent fasting and only eating once a day and hitting the gym and swimming etc. I just could not drop another kilo no matter how hard I tried.

Metformin really works well for insulin resistance… nothing else even comes close

Hmm, I did psychiatry electives in medical school years ago in Sydney (UNSW, The POWH in Randwick) and Brisbane (UQ, The PAH in Woolloongabba). Great experience....
