Has anyone here ever used a peptide without a COA? Like you didn’t test it either, just used what they sent you and hoped for the best? Or used a peptide from a supplier that had COAs that were good for many of their products but didn’t have one for the specific dose you ordered? I’m specifically asking about Tirzepatide.

"Anyone" "ever" are enormous qualifying words. Of course people have.

I give zero credence to vendor supplied COA.

Before I discovered this forum, I purchased Reta and didn't know if it had a COA. After doing some research, I found it in a smaller format. I haven't had any problems, but if you want to be truly confident, you need to analyze them yourself. You can never be sure that the vials are consistent with the COA provided.

I don't do GB, telegram or discord I just email. I looked at all the COA from a vendor I had chosen, not looking at anything but lot# and batch# and they looked organized. I don't even test anything for my own use. I ordered two kits Triz and Reta. My wife and tried they for three weeks with good results and we are still alive. I then purchased a large order of Triz and Reta to last my wife and I at max dose for 5 years all had the same batch#s This method may not work for everyone but it worked for me. Call me lucky, stupid or dumb I dont care.

I'm sure a vast majority of us have, at least once, if not more.

My first ever pep was reta, and I got it from my ugl source. Of course it didn't come with anything and I now suspect it was tirz because I had crazy appetite suppression that I was not able to replicate with real, tested reta.

same thing that happened to me with the first order I placed, I had much stronger suppression

Yup, with tirz and a few other things. My most recent kit of tirz turned out to be a little spicy, which I realized when both my husband and I had increased appetite suppression after a couple weeks on it. Not a big deal, just had to decrease my dose a little.

I have. I'm now in the practice of giving myself a tiny dose the day before the full dose, even for peptides that have good COAs. I'm most concerned about endotoxins. The thought is that I'll get mildly sick instead of super sick, and I can stop in my tracks before taking a large dose.

What is “ugl”

Honestly yes and this applies to testing 3+ months ago too, if the last test for your wished product is from 2025, I would say you doing the same and hoping for the best

Do you do your own testing or just kind of hope for the best?

I've done group testing, group buys with testing, and bought from vendors with a track record of complaints that suits me. Buying in larger quantities and ahead of time lets others test/use/complain about issues online before I have to partake in the more recent deliveries. Group buy testing methodology isn't very rigorous either... the average person is well out of their depth.

In general there are batch variance and no one is holding them to actually using batch number methodology.

From XTP on this site. Tirz had no detectable amount of Tirz in it. KLOW was only GHK-CU. There will be a complete review tonight.
Which lab tested them? There was a recent thread on here about Krause saying there was no tirz in a sample, but when tested by another lab (I think it was Freedom) it was fine.

Yeah, in my experience old guys have a much higher risk tolerance than younger people of either sex. I'm assuming your user name is self descriptive.

ETA, I am also an old guy.

What are we considering old?
If you've been to over 50 dead shows, you're old. There are other metrics of course. Do you know how to use a slide rule? Did you have a party line in your home as a kid? Did you own an 8 track player? If yes, definitely old.

Are you getting mail from AARP on a regular basis? Borderline old.

No Dead shows, a slide rule yes, I used to use them ordering concrete. Never had a party line, I know what they are and had 8 tracks forever ago. I've been getting AARP stuff for 20 years. Do I qualify? I live in old people hell in this state.

I just had two vials fail testing. I will never use anything that does not have a current COA.
But how can you trust the random-ass labels the manufacturers/distributors paste on the vials? Who's to say that all the vials in a single kit are from a single batch or single manufacturer.

At the end of the day, we ALL are Trusting all of the vials that we use, considering that the one true vial that you had tested is not returned. It's all a crap-shoot and we just hope that the manufacturers don't want to kill off their customers--lousy business model. 🤣
