“No Source Discussion”?

Any idea on the timeline of unlocking DMs? Or am I just too dense to figure out how to do it... LOL I know that might be a weird question, but I'd really like to

If I may respectfully add myself to this request. I’d genuinely appreciate the opportunity to

So the site-runners deliberately don't share that, and for good reason. If you were a scammer, a shill, a fanboy, or that "social media manager" that Finricks was advertising to hire, and it were easy to go "Oh, ok, so it's time since registration times posts-to-like ratio and "wow" reacts lose five, plus 3/reply-to's" then it'd be really easy to speed run and do lip service to the requirements so you could get to DM-ing everyone who you see make a stupid or innocent comment and make your money.

If you just keep talking, liking when stuff is likeable to you, and say things that are interesting enough to garner a like here and there, then it doesn't take too long. And it's likely best that you don't buy peps in the meantime anyway, because it's likely that you don't fully grasp all the fuckery in this sphere and are just going to get scammed, horribly overcharged, or sold shitty product anyway.

Thank you all for the very detailed and clear explanations, they really help newcomers like me understand how things work here and feel part of the community.
That honestly makes a lot of sense, and I really think it’s a good rule to protect the community.
I’d actually been reading the forum for quite a while before registering, and it’s something I genuinely came to appreciate over time. Most of what I’ve learned so far honestly came from this place.
I’m completely happy to wait for access to unlock naturally. I’d just love to eventually take part in group testing as well, since sharing testing costs makes things much more manageable than trying to do independent testing alone.
I really appreciate how much people here are willing to share their experience and knowledge.

Depending on your desired level of participation in the community, you might consider being a testing coordinator. Most of the group testing I participate in are coordinated by people living in the eastern US. There are a lot of EU peptide researchers. You could easily receive test vials from your peers and forward them to Janoshik labs in CZ. Jano accommodates group testing payments such that the coordinator isn’t responsible for handling the funds. There’s lots of other work but I’m sure you could learn this easily!

Just something to consider.

I’m still very new here, so I hope I’m not doing anything wrong by posting this. For me the whole process feels a bit overwhelming. I want to clarify that I’m not looking for suppliers, after a lot of research I’ve already found two reliable vendors and things are going well with them.
I really appreciate this forum; I’ve learned so much just by reading, and that’s why I finally decided to join.
What worries me is the possibility that my current vendors might close one day, and the idea of being left without GLP‑1 honestly scares me. As an Italian user, I’m still unsure about how to express myself here and I really don’t want to break any rules or make things harder for myself.
I completely respect the guidelines, but I’m trying to understand how I can eventually unlock my status and access the usual privileges. I’m not sure that simply waiting will be enough, and I’m afraid I might never get there.
To clear your restricted status just keep reading and post replies, interact with the community members within the guidelines laid out in the new members instructions. Once you reach "apprentice" status the "no source discussion" prohibition goes away. If you actively engage with the forum it does so quite quickly.

Half the time I wanna reply some thread but I get so excruciating conscious that people might think I’m posting for the sake of doing so…
So I walk back from the post, close it, and tell myself “next time.”

And here I am today still under “no source discussion” 🤣

Don't be afraid of posting. All points of view have value the very point of a forum is to share each others knowledge and insights. Just be sure you comply with the new member rules and you will be out of restrictions before you know it.

welp, congratulations, cause it looks like your "no source discussion" just came off.

I’d be open to it, especially with veteran members of the forum. I should say that I’ve only ever handled this on my own for myself, so I’m not familiar with how the group process works and I would need clear guidance before taking part. For transparency, I could consider covering also upfront costs, but only if everything is well‑defined and the group is made up of trustworthy people. Since I live in Italy, it might also be easier for me to ship to Jano (just a thought) because there’s no customs involved.

Thank you so much! Everyone here has been really kind and welcoming. I’ll do my best to keep up, even though my work goes through very irregular periods. When things get hectic, managing to take a shower feels like a small Olympic victory, 🥇so my pace might fluctuate a bit. But I’ll contribute whenever I can.i

I would assume it’s to prevent shills from coming in and pimping dealers. They wanna see you actually participate and contribute to the conversation to know you’re not a scammer/shill.

Just my assumption.

Do you get a little notification when it comes off, or do you just need to keep an eye out for it? I'm all for it btw.

Omg omg omg !!!

I wanna dedicate this special moment to everyone here , andwish this happen to you all sooner rather than later .

Now off to discuss some sourcing brb
How long did that take? Congrats !!!!

I joined around August last year and mostly just read and learned. This place already has a ton of solid info, so I didn’t feel the need to start new threads when most answers were a quick search away.
Whenever I felt I could add something useful, I’d reply. If I had nothing meaningful to contribute, I’d just keep reading, adding likes to those posts along the way
I can only guess just being consistent, respectful, and actually trying to add value over time helped. That’s about it.
And to be very frank having the tag removed doesn’t make me run along to discuss sources but more so like taking something off my neck 😆

As someone who has relatively recently joined, it didn’t bother me. The gigantic recommended suppliers thread was a good help in establishing the principles of what to look for in a vendor anyway. Mainly I read the cat thread 🤣

Enforcing a bit of space to read the many excellent resources here is no bad thing IMO. Research peptides are such a steep learning curve for best research practice anyway.
Theres a cat thread?!

Thank you so much, I really appreciate you taking the time to helped and explain this to me.
For now, I’m mostly here to learn and read. It’s a forum with many knowledgeable people, so I prefer to observe and understand better before being more active. I’m looking forward to being able to participate more and share something useful from my own experience when the time comes!
Welcome Mara! I've been poppin' in and out since Oct '24... and I still feel like a newbie when it gets to details on some methods, supplies and suppliers. I went from compounds when I got here to getting great info for suppliers from China and have now settled with U.S. website that's more expensive but offers me convenience of easy order, testing done and credit card...and is still so much better than compound or government sponsered RX. I have enough stashed for 5 years and am now at a weight for maintenance, but I am always looking for new ideas and like to see what the latest buzz is. Stay with the forum. It offers so much.

Probably exactly this.

Very well out in a nut shell

Isn't that kind of a prerequisite to have a presence on the internet. As a from or a social networking site etc etc, you can't be taken seriously if you don't have a cat thread!
who you tryin to suck up to???

You know...not once has anyone asked me to shill for them. Why? Why am I not shill material? No one has offered me money to shill, product to shill...zip, zilch, nada.
I'm feeling like I may have missed an opportunity...a second career in my retirement, a "Shill".
How exactly would that look on a resume anyway? What have you been doing for the last two years?
I've been shilling. I'm a professional shiller! 😉

I shill a little for Cricket Wireless. They don't pay me or know I'm doing it, but I switched to them right after I left my second husband, and they're cheap and I've never had a problem in twenty years.
