So I just took a look at the Finnrick site, because someone on discord said they'd sent a sample for analysis, and they will ( actually they sent an email saying the will review my request ) analyze a sample of the RT30 I just purchased from a vendor I found here. I look forward to being able to compare to the Janoshik test that they used as COA. I mean, to me, a printed sticker on a plastic kit box is hardly reassuring to an old guy.
Did I mention I'm old and suspicious. 😬 🫡

My brief time here lends me to remembering that what I read here was that they're not thought of too fondly...I'll take a look. 🫡

Awe, come on. Even for a single vial test? Yeesh. 😬
A salesman came to our door once when I was sitting with my mother, maybe thirty years ago. She answered the door, and he greeted her with "How would you like a FREE roll of paper towels?" She replied "Nothing's free" and closed the door.

Mom was no dummy.
🙂
Reminds me of "free pad" with installation of carpet. Yeah, uh huh. Right. 🙄 😡
And I have zero problem paying for good testing-it's only the HOW MUCH? that might cause me to think twice.
I'm sure Finnrick charges for SOMETHING to give you this test for "free"...if they actually perform it, that is. As it stands I see mostly flying fickled finger of fate awards being directed to finnrick. 🙄 😬

So WHO does the forum suggest be used for indy testing then?
This seems like a perfect use case for the magnifier up in the right hand corner. But honestly “the forum” doesn’t ever seem to suggest anything or anyone directly. It’s a bit like sexing chicks, just read around a bit and you’ll start to understand.

you know, I know what "sexing chicks" means, but boy howdy would my eyebrows go up if I didn't and I read that.

So the vendor has agreed to cover indy testing costs so obviously Finnrick is the go to...
KIDDING!!!! 😲
Since they used Janoshik for the COA, and many here have used 'em I figure they're ok...I've emailed them for how they'd like me to proceed.
Call off the dogs.

Anyone who isn't Finnricks.

It's unfortunate they are able to con so many people into thinking they are providing a "service" to buyers.
A bit of expanding on your thoughts would help an old buzzard understand better than he does now about peptide testing.
A glance just now at Finnrik's sentence about just how many used their service seemed to me that they weren't the ones that actually DID the testing. Kind of like the definition of "is".
"To promote safety in the peptides market, Finnrick is conducting an aggressive program of testing, procuring a total of 2,655 samples from 122 vendors across 15 products and having them checked for purity and quantity in commercial labs."
Or so it seems to me.

Here's a better question for you. How would a group of money guys, that have never had anything to do with peptides, ever be able to profit from a database of voluntarily submitted free peptide assays on compounds, many on patent, that mostly are not FDA approved, legal to sell, use or manufacture . Who would be interested in that database with the data of the people that submitted them? How much would someone pay for that data if they were planning an upcoming lawsuit or law enforcement action?

When something is “free”, it’s safe to assume YOU are the product.
