My fellow Americans...anyhow, you have probably seen all the apocalypse videos of lines for TSA at airports, I am extrapolating that the ports are FUBAR as well. It isn't going to get better with government workers now getting $0.00 paychecks. I have been tracking an order from 10/20 and the following update popped up today. It is translated so I am not entirely sure what it means, but let's just say, if you need a pep "quickly", order from a US based warehouse. God(dess) speed. Anybody else get similarly odd tracking updates? Screenshot 2025-10-28 at 10.13.15 AM.png

Your package is still in Shenzen China and you not sure how US Customs agents who are LEO and are getting paid have anything to do with it. That's an odd take.

I've seen several reports of Chinese customs cracking down and going through every package and all the paperwork now. At least making a show of it. 1 group buy had 30% of their shipments held in China. There was also something about a law change there that they can no longer use third party agents to preclear shipments. It's all part of the crackdown on Fentinal and smuggling in general.

I've mentioned this before, and am not sure how to best get everyone to understand and accept it, but all tracking from China should be assumed to be make-believe until it's scanned by the actual carrier inside the US.

If a package can't be tracked using the actual delivery company's website instead of 17track, parcelsapp, and the like, then it's best to assume the "tracking" is at least being manipulated to comfort/placate the buyer, or outright fake.

I will keep this in mind as everyone should, thank the gods I can also see it in Fedex, albeit with not as "interesting" as info 🤣

Mine used usps, and it’s just sitting in Florida. I assume it’s working its way to the US and not in Florida. Once it hits Florida and clears Florida, I’ll see actual tracking. I don’t mind, as long as it gets here, I mean what can really happen even if it takes a month or more.

This is a fantastic way to look at it! I am seeing so many sellers being vilified online with people expecting Amazon like shipping, without accepting the numerous variable that can affect shipping/processing times.
