Should I be worried that my reta powder was left in its fedex box for 2 hours in the hot sun?

Nothing to worry about, baring in mind many peptides are kept in worse conditions, China have warehouses that are hot and humid, big vendors have too much stock to keep them refrigerated

Nothing to worry. My reta package 📦 was left in 30c (90s f) for 24hrs..
I sent 1 vial for testing and was 98% .. while sure doesnt mean the others couldn't be degraded but ill go with there not.
Now if it was reconstituted haha or insulin thats different

It's freeze dried already, you are good. I would be a bit more worried if it was ono-a botox which needs refrigeration.

Depending on the residual moisture in the powder (typically 0.5-3%), the reactions will be significantly slowed down but will still occur: rapid deamidation at around 37°C over a few days; hydrolysis of peptide bonds starting at 45°C. In two hours, the reaction will not be entirely null; it might be in the range of a few percent. This would need to be verified with an MS test, but that is a destructive method and therefore of no practical use. Since most vials are overfilled by 10-20%, we remain within the margin of uncertainty.
As I mentioned in the other thread: if the temperature is high enough to cook an egg, it’s fully cooked. (around 54°C-60°C)
