Peptides for brain health / dementia

Nicotine is not the most ideal drug to take to prevent anything, given that it is possibly the most addictive drug on the planet. Obviously nicotine that is not from smoking is nowhere near as bad for you as smoking is, but nicotine on its own is thought to be cardiotoxic at least.
To add to that, nicotine is an insecticide that was banned due to severe toxicity:

After World War II, over 2,500 tons of nicotine insecticide were used worldwide, but by the 1980s the use of nicotine insecticide had declined below 200 tons. This was due to the availability of other insecticides that are cheaper and less harmful to mammals.

Ask any nephrologist what they think of that. I did. Not good for the kidneys, OTC or not.

In theory, HGH is great for the brain too. But you can't separate the brain from the body.
I just wanna add that it’s important to have regular blood testing if you’re taking lithium.

So far it looks like GLP-1s have the most promise for reducing symptoms and progression of Alzheimer’s, but the data isn’t definitive yet. No experience yet, but Semax and Selank are very popular nootropics for brain health.

I am not sure blood testing is needed for supplement dose lithium, under 20mg, for therapeutic dose lithium , absolutely essential. I was on it for a couple of years for recurrent depression and was advised by a nephrologist to stop it after getting mild proteinuria.
