I have been on 7.5 of tirz and would like to add Reta. How should I go about this? Ex: lower Tirz next pin to 5.0 and add 1.0 Reta, then week 2 Tirz 2.5 and Reta 2, etc?

Due to the half lives it takes 4 pins or so for the new dose to stabilise so whatever change you make should be more like monthly than weekly. You could try calculating the total but its just a recipe for more sides. The actual ratio could be 2.5 to 1, or it could be more like 1:1, its impossible to know.

Dropping to 5 and adding 1 and sticking for a month seems like a reasonable first step to me. Then you reassess whether that is enough or not and if not add some Reta and repeat, that will give you some idea of the ratio for the next jump. I think slow and steady with knowledge is the right way to go for minimum disruption but there is always just the option of stopping Tirz and moving straight to Reta and starting at 2mg for the first month and being as aggressive as the trials you would likely be back up to dose in 3 months.

Ive seen vendors that market Reta Tirz blends together in the vial. Not sure of the ratios in there. It may help to look at dose calculators to see if they have data for that blend.

I agree with BrightCandle.

It's not a totally bad plan but you should stay a few weeks on a new dosage to reach steady state and assess if the combo is working for you instead of jumping to new doses every week.
