Just a PSA: While placing a Christmas promo order, I was advised by a QSC rep that they currently only accept USDC on Solana. For USDT, they only support ERC20 and TRC20 networks.

This is my first order with them, so I’m not sure if this has always been the case. This may not be news to anyone who frequently orders from them. However, I had read older posts on Peppy's that they accepted both USDT and USDC on Solana, but that seems to not be the case currently. Just letting anyone who didn't know and was thinking of ordering and intended to use USDT SOL.

They don't take USDC on Base Network either (Coinbase's default!) it'll go into an unrecoverable black hole.

I did specify payment "USDT on Solana" when ordering, and they replied with "USDC on SOLANA" payment info. Being only one letter off I might not have noticed if I was in a hurry, but I'm glad I reviewed carefully before sending. When I replied that I had USDT not USDC, that's when I was advised they only accept USDC on Solana.

This should always be a given for any vendor, but review payment info very carefully before sending to ensure everything matches up.

I placed an order on Sunday and had to move my USDT from SOL to Tron but the provided QSC payment hash would not be recognized as valid by Exodus. I then moved it from Tron USDT to Etherum USDT. It was my first crypto transaction and a little frustrating but I got it done.

I'm not sure what it cost me in fees to move it twice but I now have a few dollars left on each network to support the gas tax on future movements.

new assistants confused about stablecoin.. LOL.. they do accept USDT and you can even look at transactions on their wallet.. plenty of both USDT and USDC.. as a matter of fact very last payment (as of right now) was using USDT..

ETA: It would have been same wallet (same address) on Solana network

why did you do that?? that was not necessary and when it comes to fees, not an optimal move.
I thought the USDT had to be on the same network that the seller uses? Is that not the case?

Here are the payment options they provided:

BTC: (the payment amount cannot be less than 0.0005BTC)
USDT- ERC20
USDT-TRC20
ETH

QSC takes both USDC and USDT on Solana network so you could have just sent that. All those movements were not necessary.... Sounds like you're the second (and probably not the last) victim of incompetent sales assistants.. @Qingdao Sigma should address that with them...

Anyone else getting an email bounce back saying your message was rejected by spam filter? I had been communicating with rep, placed order, paid, tried to send transaction ID and am now getting mailer daemon rejected email returns.

I was going to ask for a SOL address but didn't want to wait (insert unreasonable amount of time) for a response.

Common issue for those using proton. don't use proton..

Interesting, my experience was the opposite. For one of the November promos, I requested USDC-sol and they sent back the USDT-sol wallet address so I converted my USDC to USDT in the Jupiter app and that’s what I sent. The product came in so… 🤷🏻‍♀️

that was not necessary.. you could have just sent USDC - it's same address/wallet.. oh well live and learn.. they don't always read carefully what you specify, so they'll give you (correct) address but may mistakenly show the other stablecoin -- when they really should say "USDC or USDT on Solana: xxxxxx" then people would not be confused.. it's really not that hard for them to fix this..

Could be a new rep. I'm not sure since this was my first order from QSC. Below is the email chain where the last one I received I was told they do not have SOL for USDT, only ERC and TRC. Being new to this I didn't want to take the chance on just sending to the USDC SOL hash I was given initially. I've seen too many posts about money being lost.
