PT-141 (Bremelanotide) is a highly potent synthetic peptide analogue of α-MSH that may elicit aphrodisiac effects through stimulation of melanocortin receptors. PT-141 (Bremelanotide) consists of seven amino acids and is a cyclic, shortened lactam variant of alpha-Melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH), a multifunctional peptide that regulates a broad array of physiological functions. In studies, bremelanotide was shown to induce lordosis in an animal model and was also effective in treating sexual dysfunction in both men (erectile dysfunction or impotence) and women (sexual arousal disorder).

PT-141 has a peptide purity level that exceeds 99.0% as determined by HPLC and MS. This peptide was synthesized with no additives and is supplied as a white lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

I just recently tried it out of curiosity it did nothing for me two different nights in a row at 2 ml, I sourced it for peptide science

I think the guidelines are not more than twice in a week. Some advise not more than 3x in a month -- though I cannot find a primary source on that, it may be internet nonsense.

Regardless, I'd definitely take a break of at least a few days before trying again.

2mg did nothing so they need to find their threshold... sweetheart.
"2 ml" and joined on the 2nd... Clearly new. 💀 I wouldn't suggest 3 mg to someone new when the effects tend to be nothing.... Nothing.... Boom! And it hitting too hard can lead to a.... prolonged reaction. 😭

That's a 33% increase! At least give the Sudafed tip!

I get random long lasting boners for two days after 1.5mg. Did you get it tested? It's difficult to believe it does nothing. My girl also likes it. She gets bad nausea and headaches, but still likes the benefits.

I noticed something interesting last time I tried it.

My first dose was 1.0 mg. I had a small but obvious reaction at the site and a couple hours of flushing and warmth. There was some obvious "performance enhancement." It was kind of weird and fun but nothing wild.

A week later, 1.25 mg. This time, I had fewer sides. No mark at the site at all, I didn't see any flushing, and I barely felt warm. The positive effects were about the same as the first try, maybe less.

I've seen in a few places that side effects may abate with exposure, perhaps that's happening here. I obviously haven't done much testing yet though.

I tried it recently at 1.75 mg, about 2 days apart and I barely felt anything. I read up on weight based dosage, I came across the recommendation of 0.25mg per kg of body weight. I got that from some website called ConciergeMD, but can anyone back that up? Because for me that would be a 22.2 mg dose, which seems like a lot!

I raised that exact question based on that same reading at Concierge MD, on another forum…..can’t recall where……but my post got NO responses to explain that high (and erroneous) dosage recommendation.
Do NOT take it at that dose per kg of body weight.
Everyone is doing a flat dose of .5 mg on up to 2 mg. Some have unpleasant side effects at low doses, others do not. Some tolerate 2 mg or even a little higher to 2.5-3.0 (was that Vigorous Steve?)
Start low and see how you respond.

Yes! In the same website post about pt-141 it even says not to exceed the max dose 2mg unless you discuss with your doctor. Seems like a reckless error.

8x a month per FDA guidance.

PT-141 at low doses tends to induce all the side effects without the libido enhancing benefits, leading to disappointment and prematurely giving up.

Vyleesi, the same compound in FDA approved pharma form for Women with unattractive partners, comes as a 1.75mg pen. There is no "starting low" for an effective dose. This dose is based on the generally lower mass of females.

I've used PT-141 for quite a few years, and the experience at 2.5+ is entirely different in a positive way.
