That is how I understood the market as well. I just thought that QSC and SRY were "soup to nuts" in the process and didn't rely on a single source for raws.

Yeah, I think he actually does. IIRC, he's published videos of their lab along with photos of the process.

My understanding is there is an extremely small group of manufacturers of unlyophilized peptides. Janoshik stated: "I'm convinced that there are no more than 2 manufacturers of Retatrutide raws. I've actually dug quite deep into that one." He said that while he hasn't researched the number to tirzepatide raw manufacturers, he believes that number also to be small.

Both QSC and Uther claim that they lyophilize peptides. Whether they do or not is another question.

As a practical matter, you should assume that you're buying from a reseller. Buying from a reseller is not necessarily a bad deal. The manufacturers of raws will not deal with ordinary buyers.

While I suspect Tracy knows much about peptides are produced in China, I don't trust him.

I don't trust any of them... The last orders to a vendor before they poof will never be filled. We're just on a cakewalk here hoping to get a seat the next time the music stops. Sometimes you get the rug pull.

I assumed there was at least more than one raws manuf. I think Jano is being generous when he says "no more than two". My confusion on QSC being a raws manufacturer (they're not), was that they sold raws. But now I am inclined to think there is one raws manufacturer. I'm sure the authorities are pressuring the people they've apprehended for info on their upstream source. Fingers crossed they're able to keep a secret.

Yeah, it's probably a mix of both. He does some finishing in his "lab" and also has a supplier for finished peptides. But I seem to recall a video of him or someone in the process.

He also had some bacterial contamination in some of his batches too. Definitely felt like Jessie and Walt in the RV cooking up some peptides.

In the unlikely event that China were to close down all the raw manufacturers of GLP-1 drugs (I'm not talking about those who have FDA approval to manufacture, for instance, those used by compounding pharmacies that follow the rules), then manufacturers of raws would spring up somewhere else. The market is too big, the amount of money to be made too great, to suppress raws.

I do find it ironic that the US is currently pressuring China to cut down on the manufacturing of fentanyl precursors considering that the UK and China fought the Opium Wars specifically to make it so that Western powers could sell opium to Chinese folks.

Yeah no doubt some fresh faces will step in to the peptide raws market if the current cartel gets busted. It'll take some time. That's why I have years worth in the freezer.

If the CIA helped move GLP-1 drugs into the US, that would be great.

I also have years worth or tirz and reta in the freezer. The most likely outcome for the future of peptides, IMHO, is that both remain available and their prices go down. But my freezer is full because I'm hedging my bets.

My recommendation for all people using grey peptides would be to always have at least three months worth if peptides in the freezer to avoid supply disruptions or having to pay an exorbitant amount. Although it's currently more expensive to buy GLP-1 drugs than it was a month ago, it's still possible to avoid paying ridiculous prices. Still it's preferable to pay SRY or SSA prices. I suspect those companies won't come back, although the people who ran them may start similar companies.

Yeah I know of a few characters that keep like a month's supply on hand and that's it! I guess money is tight... totally understand that not everyone has the disposable income to drop on *years worth.

I'll bite....ordered 9/20, received 9/26 (cag10) Orders from different warehouses so the next one should arrive on Monday, 9/29. (disp, epi, sema5) Nothing too pricey so it wouldn't be too painful if he didn't deliver. Is it good stuff? Remains to be seen. It was a very pleasant transaction.

Sure, and I'm sure a trusted vendor will, at some point, fuck me over, because the longer I'm in this, the greater the chance my turn will come. Just like I accept that if I date dudes forever, my chance of getting beaten up by one goes up over time. But like, if I see ten women in a forum say "Oh yeah, that dude beat me up BAD that one time," I'm sure not gonna go out with him because "hasn't but might" is better than "has."

So he's Tracy when people want refunds from 9 months ago but definitely not Tracy when selling peptides now. Got it

Personally I don't blame someone who got shafted for being mad and refusing to order, but I sort of buy his reasons...just getting restarted, will do refunds etc after gets fully up and running. It could be a lie but it could be true.

Only 20 years later there would be a Civil War (and a second Opium war where the US was a declared neutral).

There's definitely a well paid propaganda pipeline for this ideation and a mental market for it though. Sadly, there are few countries today where the leaders are legitimately afraid of and proponents for the governed. That wasn't so true even 10 much less 25 years ago.

I do not find a sense of justice in that.

US troops did in fact fight in the opium wars. The US was a party to the treaties in the opium wars. US traders sold opium.

Was the behavior of the US or the West uniquely evil? No. However, China became addicted to opium as a result of the West. That is a harm caused by contact with the West. China's booming economy and current engineering and scientific progress could not have happened without contact with the West. The US defeat of Japan ended the brutal Japanese imperalism in China. The US deserves great credit for how it handled Chinese after World War II. We helped foster the conditions that enabled Japan to become a liberal democracy and a strong economic power.

I find myself somewhat in the middle on issues concerning concerning colonialism and blaming the West. I am strong believer in Western values. I regret that universities have become so anti-imperalist in orientation to the extent that those who talk about the benefits of colonialism often are accused of racism and for the most part will never become PhDs. Many bad scholarly works exist condemning colonialism only because there is so little appetide to challenge them. At the same time, I don't want want folks trying to sugarcoat slavery or to deny the many real harms of colonialism. I thought Charlie Kirk going to universities to express his views was a good thing even though I disagreed with Charlie KIrk on most issues.
