Good morning! Again, I have done the research and I have searched this site using every key word I can think of to try to get the answer. I understand there is a difference between reconstitution solution and Bac water and that it has to do with the addition of benzyl alcohol as a preservative in Bac water. However, while looking through things on Amazon, I found a product, made in the USA called reconstitution solution but then the bottle says, "Ultra clean with 0.9% Benzyl Alcohol" and under that it says, "Research use Only." So is this a companies attempt at skirting the rules and actually putting out a Bac water? Thoughts from anyone?

The answers to your questions are probably best summed up as follows:
With genuine Pfizer/Hospira BAC currently in limited supply and the price inflating rapidly, along with the ability to acquire it without a prescription becoming increasingly uncertain, it's seeming more likely we may have to start relying on BAC water from China. That being said, just like buying peptides it's going to require more diligence with regard to testing and holding vendors accountable to verify proper pH, BA content, and lack of contaminants.
Almost all the Chinese BAC water tests I've seen are generally close on BA content and free of contaminants; the main issue has been pH outside the desirable neutral range. Fortunately we can easily test for pH ourselves with quality aquarium test strips or an inexpensive meter (which you can buy on Amazon lol). And while there are certain peptides that aren't terribly pH-sensitive, some people may experience ISR's or other discomfort if the pH is outside the neutral zone (and there aren't any Klingons to worry about). Then there are the peptides that are very sensitive to pH, some of which don't even behave well with Hospira BAC and require a much more specific pH outside of the neutral range.
Just like the majority of the Chinese figured out how to produce far more consistent peptides and become more accurate with fills etc. I suspect that as demand for their BAC water increases we'll likely see steady improvement in the overall quality. And with crowdfunded testing becoming a regular practice we will probably know pretty quickly which vendors BAC can be trusted. All of which is still far better than buying it from Amazon.
- Never buy BAC water (or any injectable) on Amazon.
- The entire "Research Use Only" disclaimer is legally dubious "cover" for selling these types of products.
- "Made in the USA" claims for "Research Use Only" products are 99% lies.
- There's a better than zero chance that any BAC water ("reconstitution solution") sold on Amazon is something someone cooked up in their kitchen with tap water - possibly in-between cooking up batches of meth.
- Never buy BAC water (or any injectable) on Amazon.

Just remember.. at one point Jenny He was including "bac" water with her kits. It was just sterile water and she didn't know the difference.... 🙄
With that one example, are you suggesting that means none of the Chinese know what BAC water is?
It wouldn't be surprising to learn that many of the BAC home-brewers selling on Amazon don't know the difference, or maybe some think isopropyl alcohol is the same as benzyl alcohol.

The reconstitution solution I bought off of Amazon, when mixed with actual Zepbound so that it would dilute the Zepbound to .1 mg per unit, resulted in solid pieces in my vial. Since then I've only used Hospira BAC and the free BAC water that Peptide Groups Buys offers with purchases. I haven't had any more problems.
No.. I am just saying be careful... and ask the question. I know PGB's bac is bac... and it tested to be bac. So some of the Chinese factories are actaully making bac.

I really like the size of PGB’s bac. The idea of using a new, sealed vial for each reconstitution is appealing. Then I saw a video that someone posted on Stairway to Gray where there was a bug floating around in one of the vials. I realize I’ve probably unknowingly ingested far worse than a tiny bug, but when something is supposed to be pure I kind of want it to be pure.

Are sterile vials, needles, etc. from Amazon fine? Is it just the BAC water that should be avoided?
Fun fact: The first couple of PGB deals where the late Uncle Peter started including free BAC with every order turned out to be sterile water.
Personally for both of those items I would avoid Amazon. Again it's one of those things where nobody really knows if the vials are truly "sterile", and the risk of counterfeit syringes and needles is always present and has been documented a number of times on Reddit, etc.
Last time I looked I didn't find Amazon's prices on those kind of items to be especially great compared to other online diabetic supply places, who in my experience provide better customer service and overall value anyway (and hopefully aren't selling info about my personal medical purchases to the highest bidder).
