Good morning! I am a newbie (gasp, I know)! But I have been doing my homework. I am one of those people that researches the heck out of things before I decide to do something. Hence, I have been lurking the forums, for weeks before posting. I started my journey the traditional way - using the real stuff. I couldn't maintain the cost so moved to a traditional telehealth for my fix. That also, was very expensive. I am now in my research phase of my journey and starting my clinical trials. After spending lots of time reading and researching, I bought my first batch of tirz via Nexaph to further my research. Thought I would give a little background prior to jumping to my question. 🙂

Like I said, I research the heck out of things so I have spent hours reading, watching videos and looking into filtering vs. not filtering. I have decided to filter. Here comes my question. I found the very helpful youtube video -
, which was helpful and intimidating at the same time. I also have the downloaded PDF instructions from same creator. I have everything I need in a cart. So here is my question. Do you have to put the reconstituted peptide into a new sterile vial? Or can you use the same vial it came in? Thanks in advance for all of your help. I am learning so much! Hopefully I will learn more through my own research.

Well done. This is a great way to introduce yourself and ask a question.

Let me help you reason through it.
What is it that you are filtering out?
Does all of that go into the syringe when you draw it out of the original vial?

Sorry for the delay as I had to wait to be approved. 🙂 I guess I have read a lot about filtering and was going to take the plunge and do it. And when I watched examples, they always used a new vial rather than putting it back in the original vial. Since then I have found out that I have to use a new vial as my pucks came in too small of vials for the amount of water I need to add.

A gross mental exercise to think this through.

For some terrible reason I am filtering a bottle of water that has been contaminated by fecal matter. Do I want to put the filtered water into a new bottle or do I want to put it back into the original bottle (that has not been sterilized) and drink out of it?

Good Answer! 👏👏👏

Depends on if you're German or not.

I have this same question.
Guys, yes. You have to use a new vial. Why are you filtering in the first place? To remove contamination. So why would you clean something only to put it back in its original dirty spot?

This is common sense I fear. In our basic biology classes, we learn about aseptic technique and how to prevent spread of microorganisms. This is basic knowledge you should have before poking yourself.

If you don’t want to learn, then follow the experts step by step. Don’t try to save money or take shortcuts because you don’t understand the risks you are taking. This may come off harsh but harm reduction is our main priority here and if you are asking these questions, you need to do more research.

I wasn't thinking of putting it back into the original vial. I was thinking of filtering it into the BAC vial, but I will use a new vial. Thanks for your concern. I do have common sense. 🤣

Why are you wanting to add so much water? The standard size vial should be fine, especially with tirz.

No that’s just as stupid. Glad you will use a new vial.
No reason to be an ass. I get that it can frustrating when others may not seem to be keeping up with what you're trying to help them with, and I'm generally OK with being direct even if it comes across as insulting when it's not intended to be, but there's a difference between coming across as insulting and just being a jerk. Cut it out please.

I apologize. I’m not calling him/her stupid, I am saying the idea of filtering into a bac vial is stupid. Might as well not filter at all at that point. Def didn’t mean it as a personal insult.
