Can you share what your experience has been with the general, or specific, attitude concerning the use of glps for weightloss in the UK? I have some relatives there who I feel may benefit from the gentle introduction to them for health purposes. My sharing of my personal use is a big stretch as I am usually a very private person. Thanks.

I think in the UK you get a mix of attitudes some people are open to it some give it the "you're cheating just eat less and move more" I think alot of people are taking them in secret now that we can pay for a private prescription for them.. some people aren't even telling their husbands/wives. There's a lot of scaremongering at the moment because mounjaro has just been signed off on the NHS for people with a BMI of 40 so we're getting a lot of posts from the media saying they're not safe and everybody is going to get pancreatitis. Overall though I think there is a lot more people taking mounjaro thank they expected because there has been a shortage. Its definitely controversial. Me personally I'm open with everybody I'm not bothered what they think but if I move over to the grey market (which I probably will due to cost) I would probably keep that to myself

So far so good I had a phase where I was super tired and I've had a bit of belly ache hear and there i haven't had any problems and I've lost 2stone 3lbs mostly in the first 5 weeks which they say is too fast but I've changed my diet massively at the same time as starting so it's had a big effect early on but now I've levelled out and stopped loosing as quickly

Awesome, congrats. Glad it's working for you. I'm hoping to start one of those soon too.

Thank you for the information about local attitude. These are young relatives who are unable to "move more" and I don't like to think that folks would be so judgmental but know it is prevalent here in the US. Hoping that with water therapy and the anti-inflammatory and appetite suppression properties of glps they can improve their quality of life.

My advice to them would be.. if their quality of life is going to benefit then go for it and keep it to themselves. I tell people because I just don't care but I suppose it does then invite the negative comments.. my mom's just started and she doesn't want to tell anyone she's got rheumatoid arthritis and needs a hip so the weight loss would make the hip less painful and any inflammatory properties are also welcomed. I'd go for it if I was them
