I have spoken to some vendors and everyone is charging $40-$60 for shipping citing minimum weight for shipping carrier. However , e-commerce sites like Temu and Aliexpress have free shipping for orders for ~$10, albeit it takes 10 - 15 days to get delivered . To entice more folks, they should really think about free shipping.

Agreed! I’ve placed four orders in two weeks and paid $40/order. It’s the sales they throw out, you just can’t pass them up, but, the shipping put a hold on a couple orders.

I've placed 2 orders in promos, both of which were with free shipping thanks to either a kit MOQ or a dollar amount minimum.

Just gotta be on the look out.
Also the promos are on regular Triz and Sema products, never on SS or BPC or other research products.

QSC just had a BPC/TB promo. Ofc its sold out now. Helps to be on one of their chat servers so you see them as soon as they post.

I agree about the free shipping, it seems the exorbitant shipping cost is designed to nudge you into buying multiple kits to offset it or reach the "free shipping" - AKA high profit margin

There are many more variables and risks associated with shipping contraband. How much would you add to the price of a kit to use your garage as a warehouse? Or your vehicle to pick up product from ports/airports? Or you personally walking up to the counter asking to pick up that palette of "skin care products"?

ETA - How much shipping would you have to charge to CYA if legal fees ensue as a result being any part of the shipping process? In China they have other repercussions to worry about than legal fees.

on top of all that, they are going to get their desired profit either way. Adding the cost of shipping into the kit just makes everything more expensive and worse when I'm 4-5 kits at a time.

I'm not sure where you are buying, but when I've bought outside of a promo, I'll go in with others so our total order meets the MOQ for free shipping and it goes to one person who reships to me, or vice versa. When I have bought direct, as I did for the first time recently, I've gotten free shipping and a discount, and this was from a high-end vendor.

I think @zpped is saying the cost of shipping should NOT be baked into the sales price of each item. As it is now you can pay one shipping charge for multiple kits/items. If the shipping charge were built in 3x kits = 3x shipping charge whereas now 3x kits equal one shipping charge or possibly meets a MOQ for free shipping (like your saying)
