Oh lord.
As a rule Reta is started at 2.5 mg in the research studies. That is what you took. Reta doesn’t really give people “feels.” You need to take the same dose for 4 weeks before increasing your dose. Reta doesn’t really affect food noise for many until they titrate up; instead, it will provide you with early satiety- eat a smaller meal and wait 10-15 minutes before getting more food to see if you feel full.

Reta does not reach full effect in your system for 4 weeks. The danger in increasing your dose too quickly is increased side effects, especially heart rate.

What is your goal with Reta? Are you using Reta to try and cut body fat, or to lose weight overall?

Hello I’m looking to cut some fat I’ve taken tirz and just was ready for the next step. I’m currently sitting at 340lbs and go to the gym 5-6 days a week.

Were you still losing with Tirz? Why did you switch to Reta? It’s not really the “next step” unless Tirz isn’t effective anymore.

Yeah tirz was starting to make me lose a lot more muscle than I liked so wanted to try out Reta to possibly retain some of that muscle
Honestly they both have the same effect- the claims that Reta causes less muscle loss isn’t true. To prevent muscle loss, make sure you meet your protein goals- if you are eating enough protein and working out, you should maintain.

It's also normal and fine to lose muscle as well as fat, whether you're using GLPs or not. You're no longer building muscle from constantly carrying around all that excess weight.
