Hi everyone, good to be here.

I started on tirzepatide in August of 2023 at a peak weight of 225 lbs as a 5'8" male. I transitioned to retatrutide in December of 2023 for its GCGR activity. I lost about 60 lbs and got to my goal weight around April 2024 and tapered off all medication by July or so. In the past year I've shot back up to about 200 lbs gradually so I'm back on the good stuff. Hoping that this time around I can get to my goal weight and continue to take medication at a reduced dose to stay in maintenance mode. Maybe this is a lifelong drug for me, who knows.

Hey there! Thanks for sharing your journey. It's really helpful to hear from someone who's been through the process. I'm just starting to look into GLP-1 medications myself after years of relying on convenience foods and takeout. Your experience with retatrutide is particularly interesting since I hadn't heard much about that one yet. It sounds like you've learned a lot about what works for your body, and I appreciate the honesty about the weight coming back. That's something I'm definitely concerned about. The idea of potentially staying on a maintenance dose long-term makes a lot of sense to me. How did you find the transition between medications, and did you notice different effects with retatrutide compared to tirzepatide?
