I would consider myself a newbie for sure. I have soo much more to learn so ive been a long time lerker until now..

I’ve been diagnosed with MOGAD- Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein Antibody Associated Disease. Pretty much leaving me paralyzed from the waist down with lots of complications due to an extremely late diagnosis because of the rarity of this disease. I’ve been scrolling through these threads day and night looking for anyone who may be experiencing something similar and might be looking for more information. Of course I haven’t found much specificlly for MOGAD itself but lots for reducing inflammation in general which can stop some flare ups. My goal is to gain back some level of function below my level of injury. If you or someone you know has had any success in researching I’d like to hear more about their journey.

ARA-290

NVG-291 I know there are clinical trials going on with this one now specifically for SCI.

BPC-157
TB-500
KPV

I cannot offer any advice for this… yet, I do have an auto immune disease. It’s called “Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease”. It flared up during my first bout with Covid in 2021 and it has remained.

The peptides you are taking (BPC-157-TB-500)
have given me tremendous relief! I do know lots of people here have auto immune disorders. Hopefully someone may jump in and give you some direction.

Hoping you find your answers!!!!!!

TA1 is the first thing that comes to mind for experimental use for autoimmune disorders like RA, but may be too experimental:

This medicine may stimulate the immune system, which could exacerbate autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis, lupus, or rheumatoid arthritis.
Seems even more iffy for MOGAD:

Because MOGAD is an antibody-mediated attack on the myelin sheath, "immune boosting" agents—often claimed to be the benefit of peptides like Thymosin Alpha-1—could theoretically increase the production of the very autoantibodies driving the disease.

This! I’m not very interested in TA1 because of that specific risk. Although I have looked into it a bit. Doesn’t mean it’s off the table completely, I just need to do way way way more studying with TA1 first before I begin my research.

I have read a bit about TA 1 and it turned me off pretty quick due to this risk. Not to say the reward won’t outweigh the risk but I need to do way way more digging into it before I begin this research process with TA1.
