Hello all,

Did some searching and did not find a recent thread covering this topic - I guess this is aimed mostly for folks in the US, but open to input from all.

I am not able to routinely get into a PCP for blood work and I understand that many people will either deal directly with labs themselves, or use some of the self-testing kits or services out there. Who do you use, how often do you go, and what, if anything do you routinely get outside of a regular CBC / CMP?

I am particularly interested in checking IGF and Test levels as I am considering adding Tesa to my stack and I have tested borderline low for T in the past. Priorities for me are cost and convenience.

For a very reasonable price and very convenient to do, go to ownyourlabs.com and order your own blood work. You order and pay on the website, then you print out the lab requisition and take it to your local Labcorp draw station.
Results in about a week.

Goodlabs is a great option too. They will let you order practically anything. Including all the hormones you can think of. The price at quest labs seems to be better by quite a lot than the price at labcorp through their site, so it matters which you have available in your area. You can often find 20% off referral codes for them too.

I have used fitomics for about 1 year, I am now looking at the goodlabs model with no subscription.

Pricing is very good and though more for labcorp, still competitive.

Here's another vote for Goodlabs.com. I had complete lipid profile done, CMP, one-time only Lipoprotein(a), Apolipoprotein(b), A1c, fasting glucose, etc. for less than $50. This code should get you 20% off: S93U1U.

Thank you, kind stranger!

I use Fitomics, don’t have Quest locally.

I didn’t price shop against Goodlabs, under the assumption it’s close enough it’s not worth the effort. Buy when they have sales and yee haw.
