Reta and food noise

Reta is not as effective for food noise as tirz. A lot of folks take both reta and lower dose of tirz. Some add cagri for food noise too
This is exactly what I do mate, I think this is probably the best way.
I been on Reta for over 12 months, and I’ve only just recently added Cag into the mix.

Wondering what peoples opinions are on food noise & appetite suppression on Reta as opposed to MJ?
Used MJ for 10 months last year and found it great for stopping the food noise and my appetite was near non existent. Seen mixed reviews from others that Reta may not have the same affect? I’ve started on 2mg Reta for the last 2 weeks and not seeing any real difference, do I need to be patient or is this normal with Reta?
I got a pretty decent amount of food noise supression from Reta on my starting dose of 1mg. I eventually went up to 1.5mg > 2mg > 3mg and now 4mg. Food noise never really got bad though, only reason I went up was because I could feel it running out a tad bit before my next dose. The titration fixed that though.

That said, there is still a little bit of noise. Its just not loud enough to bother me at all. Before starting Reta I had been on a 1500 calorie diet for about 9 months so I got used to saying no to food (even if it was hard). Reta gave me just the right edge needed to diminish the hypnotic affect of food haha. I guess we'll see if titrating any further becomes necessary or not. Im still only 1 month into this whole thing.

I was up to 7.5mg on MJ and the thought of food was literally non existent, I had to force myself to eat at times. I deffo think long term Reta will be better for me, especially that I’m training a lot more so hoping will feel the benefits that way!
Can you not buy an insulin pen you can fill yourself? I know a couple of sellers in the UK sell them with the cartridges, not sure about Japan though lol!
No syringes are illegal without a prescription. Very frustrating because you can import many prescription medications without a prescription here, but they draw the line at needles lol.

I know of people doing Reta here but they never talk about how they get the syringes.

Damn that’s so backwards lol, need to find someone in the aesthetic industry or somewhere like that who can hook you up 😂

That's because of the half-life of 6 days or so. I actually wonder how much difference there is between actual suppliers/labs. I was reading some stuff on TG like platform on how one "hits" harder than another.

Sadly I’m switching back to Manjaro because I’m in Japan now and can’t get syringes. Stick with it I’m jealous of you lol.
I'm a DIY guy that always try's to find a work around for everything. With your low dose, I would add Reta into a nasal spray bottle with some saline and see if I could maybe use it once or twice a week. I haven't heard if that being done, however I would give it a try over going without Reta.

I have a friend who has a prescription for testosterone back in Brazil, and he’s able to import syringes. I asked him how I should go about it and he looked at me like im some kinda crack head. I’m pretty sure most trt clinics here don’t allow self injection either so I can rule that out lol.

Plus if I was in trt I probably wouldn’t spend as much effort trying to stay lean lol. Also it’s like 3 times the price as Manjaro. Looks like I got to make some diabetic friends that can help me out.

Depending on your dose with MJ it could take some time. I switched straight from 2.5 mg of MJ to 2.5 ish of Reta, the first 2 weeks were ok. Now that I’m at about the one month mark the physical satiation is so strong I can barely eat anything without feeling nauseous.

The “food noise” reduction on MJ probably won’t come back until you titrate to a higher dose, but as of right now I feel like an apathetic robot towards food lol. The effect is pretty different, but the results are better for me. Longer half life, cheaper, and slightly higher energy is also cool.

Did you consider putting Reta into a refillable injection pen?

I’m pretty sure those also fall under the same restrictions and normal insulin syringes unless you are importing a prefilled pen.
