Reta and Tirz stacked

I'm definitely seeing this on more price sheets lately. Some vendors let you cutomize your GLP by adding Cagri to it and reta+cagri is becoming a common list item.

I'm about to start a stack. I've been on Tirz for a while and I'm up to 10mg. I hit a stall and I'm looking to make a change so I've been researching stacking.

My plan is to start at 1mg Reta with 10mg Tirz and titrate up to 6mg Reta while titrating down the Tirz, potentially to 5mg.

I've been following a lot of other people doing the same thing and they've been really happy with the results. My Reta should be here in a couple days and I plan on providing progress updates once I start the process.

I've done Cagri. I'm about to start it again, with my Tirz Reta stack.

Stay VERY low with Cagri doses. It is no joke, Cagri will crush your appetite. You can go days without eating when you take Cagri, you have to force yourself to eat and make yourself drink water. Cagri is VERY powerful and it kicks your butt when you first take it, the day of your shot you will have your energy wiped out.

I'm not surpised that someone is stacking Cagri on top of R+T but it's the first time I've heard of it. Most use Tirz as the Cagri equivalent (though weaker) because of cost. So why all three rather than swapping Tirz for Cagri?

Tirz has been hit or miss with me when it comes to food noise. When I titrate up the food noise goes away for a week or two but comes back. I recently quit drinking after years of being a heavy drinker (The Tirz has killed my desire to drink) and my food noise is crazy. My body is missing all of the calories from the alcohol and it's demanding them. I'm adding Cagri to the mix to quiet down the food noise. I don't plan to do it long term, just long enough for my body to adjust to the calrie deficit from not drinking.

The worst part is alcohol breaks down into suger and I have an insane sweet tooth right now.

Is there a reason you haven't switched to Reta?

That's great feedback. I maxed out Tirz at 5mg and lost most of my weight. I never lost my interest in alcohol but since I always drink with food, I reduced my drinking to almost nothing. There is nothing good about alcohol so I'm still on the quest to stop completely.

You probably need to eat more fruits and Berries. Also, they are currently testing 20 mg and 25mg doses of Tirz. You have more room to run higher. Tirz can be a managed chaos, and days 6 and 7 are tough for a lot of people. Some do dose every 5 or 6 days for that reason. I have stuck to 7 days because I enjoy the chaos. If I were going to consider stacking at this stage, I would wait on the Eloralintide summer gold rush. ,The Tirz has treated me well, especially at higher doses.

I have stacked both, with a slightly lower amount of Tirz than I normally would've done and like 1mg of Reta...it was ok. I didn't notice anything tremendous from that. I have also stacked them with Cagri (I did all three one day and wanted to die for a week. 10/10 do not recommend.)

Right now I am doing Tirz + .25mg Cagri one night, then three nights later Reta 1.5mg + .33mg Cagri (.5 almost leveled me.) and that's been doing pretty well. Cagri will LEVEL you.

Hello—what do you use to reconstitute the Cagri, given the described risk of fibril formation? Or has there been a new development in this regard?

Do to some odd insurance reasons, and a bit of "just because"
2.5MG Tirz Sunday & .75 Reta on Thursday (titrating up slowly)
Been on Tirz for 8 months or so, and felt the need to burn some calories while in a deficit, hence the Reta.
Cagri oddly did nothing form me when dosed up to 500mcg mid cycle.

Relatedly. Tirz is very effective for me, but was absolutely horrible for the first few weeks. With high gastro pain and loss of interest in everything. I could probably switch up my prescription to 5MG, but I dread such a high jump, do to the my previous experience.
The reason I did not just buy gray Tirz and titrate up, is because I wanted to see if i can get the downtime calorie burns

I had titrated up to ten mg Tirz, and was still having way too much food noise and hunger, on top of 30 days stall. The upward titration of Tirz hadn’t been having an effect, so rather than go up again, I added 1mg of Reta on my last dose a couple days ago (injecting separately). Bam! Food noise and hunger gone. I also have Cagri on order, which I may or may not rotate in if I think it’s necessary, I plan to use that only as needed.
ETA: I think I’d rather not have it compounded elsewhere, I like the flexibility to adjust my own dosage as I see fit

I’m on 5 mg Tirz and 2 mg Reta, staggered. I probably will not titrate up on the Reta any time soon, since I get the occasional bout of “retarrhea” and also reta has increased my bpm by a full 10. But on the whole, I feel pretty good. Losing 2 lbs per week consistently, with more energy than when I was using Tirz alone.

I do them staggered as well with 3.5mg Tirz and 2mg Reta. Happy with the Reta being lower but have had a big drop in Libido that I didn't have on Tirz alone. I am likely to go down on it until I feel better on the libido. I do 3 days on one and 3 on the other cycling.

The changes in heart rate and HRV are one of the big reasons I'm trying tirz instead of reta. That, and I get basically zero appetite suppression on reta regardless of dosage 🙁

im at 6mg reta and dont feel appetite suppresion or slow gastric so this week pinned 2x 1mg Tirz to try and see
That's basically the path I'm taking too. The more I read here, the more I see that it's not totally uncommon for some people to be kind of non-responders to reta like me. Really hoping Tirz is the answer

I've just noticed a couple of vendors selling Reta 20mg and Tirz 40mg stacked.
I didn't even know that was a thing.
I was up to 10mg Tirz weekly. Coming from compounded pharmacy to grey. I had been researching and reading up on Reta and wanted to switch to it. I bought one "tester" vial to see how my body would react. I pinned 2mg Reta for week one, along with my 10mg Tirz.

Felt nothing at all from the Reta so I gave myself 2mg more on day three. Then I felt it. I just cycled it in as 4mg once weekly, and moved Tirz down to 7.5mg three days after pinning Reta.

While the combo worked for a few weeks, I didn't like the extra dizziness from pinning both. And I had severe food aversion. It was very hard to eat, especially in the mornings. And my heart rate was a little too elevated for my liking, especially in the gym.

I cut Tirz out entirely and bumped Reta up to 8mg on week 5. Been at 8mg since then with no Tirz and I'm feeling great. No dizziness. Heart rate is better. Workouts still hit. Some slight food aversion in the mornings but can still eat. And I still get full on less food.

I'm losing about 1-1.5lbs/week. I am also trying to take in about 150-200grams of protein per day. Some days harder than others because life has been lifing - but overall I can see my muscles developing, growing, and fat slowly disappearing. We are at the stomach bump and thigh weight loss part of this journey now - it takes time - and I'm okay with that.

Hope my experiences help someone.

Hospira BAC water, with acetic acid, and tested with ph strips
