Reta anyone splitting their weekly dosages?

Hold up. I think I get this. My trough days are effective. I get that split elevates trough. I can go down to 3mg from 4mg but maybe be therapeutically closer to 4mg by splitting?
Roughly, yes.

If the trough of 4mg once a week is effective, the trough of 3mg split may be high enough to accomplish the same effectiveness with less average exposure and lower peaks.

Yes wife and I split our doses out to 2X a week and it has worked tremendously for us since we started our journey with Reta.

Thanks. I do want sleep. Gonna try the 3mg split.
My sleep is currently struggling with my aggressive dosing, but you’ll have that on them big jobs.

Do you track your sleep? I bought an Oura Ring a couple months back specifically for sleep tracking more comfortably than my watch.

I don't currently. Moving to 4mg RT was the first noticeable difference in sleep in years. Awake 3:50am like clockwork.

I am trying reta after a good run with tirz. I tried reta for about a month when I first started, but I think I started too high for me (2mg) and found the elevated heart rate uncomfortable.
Now on this second go at it, I am starting low and splitting my dose Tuesday and Friday nights. I don't want a repeat of the last run, so I'm liking the smaller amounts at a time.
Can you explain your elevated heart rate a bit more? I noticed about 8-10 bmp increase at 2 mg and not about 12 on 4mg. I’m not noticing any negative side effects but am definitely concerned that my resting heart rate is now around 80-82.

Mines about 4 BPM more and sleeping it's 53-55.

Just adding that a split dose 2x per week has been working great for me. I'm still at 3mg on Sundays and Thursdays (6mg week total), it's more than enough for the desired effect. I only notice elevated HR during cardio.

yes it evens out the amount in system over time, keeping a higher more even level
smaller spikes and valleys.
