Anyone use Reta to lose weight but switch to Tirz or Sema for maintenance? Or did you continue Reta for maintenance? What dose did you use to lose weight? What dose are you using for maintenance? Hitting maintenance and trying to make a good plan.

I switched from Tirz to Reta for maintenance. I am hoping I can get some of the metabolic benefits of Reta albeit at a low dose. Early days though and I'm still trying to figure out my dose (5mg currently) and timing. I am continue to slowly lose weight so I'm taking my dose somewhere between day 8 and 14 this week ( I was due to dose today).

From what i have read, when rita trial participants are losing weight too fast ELL chooses to extend the dosage period before lowering the dose.

We'll see how it works.

Thinking I'd just continue Reta. At between 10-12 mg but now weight loss has slowed considerably. Few if any side effects here too. Tirz worked super well for me but the insomnia was next level (except it was stacked with Cagri).

I came here to ask the same question. I'm only half way to my goal weight but things are moving so much faster than I expected (down 21lbs in 3 mos.) at a very low dose (1.5mg/wk) I'm starting to wonder what maintenance would look like.

While I'd like to think I could maintain at or near my goal weight med free. I'm pretty sure the headwinds menopause has created might foil that plan. Three/four months on Reta I can tell that it is very powerful (at least for me). At a minimum I want the support of a GLP1 for a year or two in my initial maitenance phase to (pls god) train my body to be at a lower set point. I'm wondering the same thing if low dose Tirz might be a better option for maintenance. @Peptidase did you ever decide about making the switch for your maintenance?
