Ive been on Reta for 19 weeks now. Starting week 20 tomorrow.
I recently added GH at a low dose for fat loss or at least that was the plan. Started 1IU at night, and 1IU in the morning.
I was going to go 1.5/1.5 eventually. After a week I upped the night time does to 1.5, but then I noticed I started to gain weight.
I've been consistently losing every week up til this point.
On day 7-11 of GH I began to see scale numbers go up a bit. I went up 2lbs. Not sure if its just me adjusting to using it. I figured must be water.
kinda bugged me so I went back to 1iu at night and morning. Weight went back down 1lb, but has just been holding now.
So now im 13 days on GH and havent seen any scale changes as far as losing goes. I'm basically up 1lb over the past 13 days.
One other change since adding the GH into my routine is Im getting hungry and its been a little hard to resist the urge to start eating.
I feel like the GH is bringing back the food noise.

So Im wondering if this should all be expected and theres an adjustment period, or should I go even lower than a split 2IU a day dose?
 
Fluid retention is a normal effect of GH. Most likely the increased weight is water. If you stop it for a while, not sure how long is required, your body will get rid of the excess water. But that increased water level will likely be maintained while you are taking GH. Unless your calorie intake has increased the underlying rate of fat loss should very slightly increase with GH.
It does raise blood sugar levels, so getting that checked is a good idea, and getting IGF-1 tested is the best way to be sure you are not dosing too high. 2-3 iu per day is greater than replacement level therapy, which is age dependent , under 30yo 1.2-1.5iu/d, 30-60 0.6-0.9iu/d, over 60 0.3-0.6iu/day. Depends a lot on why you are taking it, age, other health issues, and risk tolerance. Unlike a lot of the peptides used by people on this forum , it has at least been tested in humans.
The long term safety of GH therapy is not fully known, it does decrease intra abdominal fat and increase muscle mass by a few percent depending on dose, but increases risks of diabetes, carpal tunnel syndrome, leg swelling from fluid retention and may increase long term cardiovascular or cancer risks. People, rats and mice with low levels of GH and IGF-1 have longer life expectancies. Generally medical opinion of it for obesity, sarcopenia, aging etc is that the risks outweigh the benefits, but I am taking a low dose of it myself 1.5iu/d, to try to help maintain a 50% weight loss.
