Reta overactive libido

I've had something very similar with tirz. I sort of think mine is actually emotional and not physical. I feel young and light and beautiful and compelling, and I'm getting a lot more attention than I used to and have a lot more hope and joy and confidence and self-assuredness; so suddenly the idea of me in sexual or romantic situations feels not just plausible but obvious in a way it didn't when I was fat. And I have ALWAYS been very much a fan of me in sexual or romantic situations, so now it's just turned up to ten.

I'm not actually doing anything about all that for now; I don't actually want to involve myself with a dude while all of this feels so new. Because as excited as I am, if I don't wait for it to settle, I'll just wind up back in another disappointing marriage when all I really want long-term is something(s) part-time and not serious. But I'm delighted nevertheless. Yes I cannot concentrate and I am mildly annoying my (beloved, long-term friends) with my fascination with men, but if the point of being alive is to feel big things, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
Your drama read is chefs kiss.

Oh boy, okay that one's deep. MTor= mammalian target of rapamycin, is a poorly named biomechanical pathway in our bodies. In effect, pathways refers to the sequential method by which chemicals react in our bodies. MTor is one that's exceedingly vital for muscle growth and ATp functioning, but many longevity streams have targeted this specific mechanism. The consensus among those folks is that mTor is a driver of aging. I find it ludicrous. Anyway just like there are pathways, there are other pathways that act as inhibitors or counters of them. AMpK pathway is one such example. It inhibits mTor so many use it as a valid target for antiaging protocols.

So I’m curious if anybody else has experienced increased “urges” while taking Reta. I’ve read post that suggest it normally decreases your sexual desires. It is doing the exact opposite, I’m really having a difficult time concentrating on anything else. It’s a bit much and I need to get it under control.
Giiiiiiirl! My libido has gone wild and it wasn't exactly tame before 😂 I'm glad I'm not the only one because I googled it a few times and everywhere was telling me it should decrease, not increase! Haha. It's like I'm a hormonal 20 something again 😂

The best advice I got was go online and get some toys! lol so I bought one of each! 😂

I'm so torn. I'm hoping that when I start it has the opposite effect on me. Too high too much of the time. Hoping it'll slow things down a bit. Then on the other hand I'm looking to boost Test and get fitter so I feel more appealing to the opposite sex so this whole thought process is a real catch-22

Thought I'd throw my two cents in here. I'm ADHD. I don't take any prescription for it though. I'm too old for that nonsense but I found my libido actually drops my craving for those sorts of activities as well as my craving for sugar, sweets, anything like that.

She could order it EZPZ at Fitomics.

I came up with a similar list of tests (also testing through Fitomics) but meant for a woman starting Tirz who is also concerned with tests that have actionable info for healthspan/lifespan.
Similar price as the Fitomics prefix panel.

Primary Health Goals: Safely monitor the effects of Tirzepatide, assess endocrine functionl, and optimize long-term cardiovascular and metabolic healthspan.
### Test Rationales
#### Metabolic & Tirzepatide Safety Monitoring
* Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP): Evaluates overall kidney and liver function, blood sugar, and electrolytes. This is a mandatory safety baseline for anyone taking a GLP-1 medication.
* Cystatin C: Provides a highly accurate assessment of kidney function. Because Amanda strength trains and takes creatine monohydrate, her standard creatinine levels (on the CMP) may run artificially high; Cystatin C bypasses this to give a true picture of kidney filtration.
* Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c): Measures average blood glucose over the past 90 days.
* Insulin: When viewed alongside fasting glucose, this assesses insulin sensitivity and helps calculate HOMA-IR to track the metabolic benefits of Tirzepatide.
* Amylase, Serum & Lipase, Serum: Pancreatic enzymes used to establish a baseline for pancreatic health, as GLP-1 medications carry a rare but notable risk of pancreatitis.
* Uric Acid, Serum: An important, low-cost metabolic marker. Elevated levels are linked to insulin resistance, cardiovascular disease, and metabolic syndrome.
#### Nutritional & Dietary Optimization (Vegan Profile)
* CBC With Differential/Platelet: A broad assessment of red and white blood cells, used to screen for general health, immune function, and baseline anemia.
* Iron and TIBC & Ferritin: Vegans are highly susceptible to iron deficiency. Standard iron tests show what is in the blood right now, while Ferritin reveals the long-term stored iron crucial for thyroid function and sustained energy.
* Vitamin B12 and Folate: Essential for nerve health and red blood cell production, especially on a plant-based diet. This verifies that her current B12 supplementation is absorbing correctly.
* Vitamin D, 25-Hydroxy: Critical for bone density, immune health, and longevity.
* Magnesium, RBC: Tests magnesium levels inside the red blood cell rather than just in the serum, proving whether her magnesium glycinate supplement is successfully reaching her tissues to help with stress and muscle recovery.
* Homocysteine: An amino acid that, when elevated, indicates systemic inflammation, cardiovascular risk, and often an underlying B12 or folate deficiency.
#### Hormonal & Stress Assessment
* TSH, T4, Free, Direct, & Triiodothyronine (T3), Free: A complete look at thyroid function. Caloric deficits (from Tirzepatide) and high stress can downregulate thyroid hormone conversion, impacting her metabolism and energy.
* Cortisol: A primary stress hormone. A morning draw provides insight into her adrenal function and daily stress load as a parent and teacher.
* DHEA-Sulfate: An adrenal hormone that opposes cortisol and serves as a precursor to other hormones. Chronic stress can deplete DHEA-S, leading to fatigue and poor recovery.
#### Cardiovascular & Longevity Markers
* Lipid Panel: The standard breakdown of Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and Triglycerides.
* Apolipoprotein B (ApoB): A direct count of all atherogenic (plaque-building) particles in the blood. This is a far superior predictor of long-term cardiovascular risk compared to standard LDL cholesterol.
* Lipoprotein (a): A one-time genetic test that measures an inherited, independent risk factor for early cardiovascular disease that cannot be managed by diet or exercise alone.
* C-Reactive Protein (CRP), High Sensitivity: A highly sensitive marker for low-grade, systemic inflammation, which is a root cause of cardiovascular disease and diminished healthspan.
