Reta results

Down 39.5 lbs in 11 weeks. I had somewhat sensitive skin for the first six weeks, but it went away. I'm on 8 mg/weekly now. Very few other sides. I take a dulcolax a few days before my next shot or that side would be worse than it is.

i only had loose stools for a day after with each increase of dose. Now that I have been at 10 mg for 3 weeks no more issues with stool.

I'm 4 weeks in and down 15 lbs. I started at 1.0mg, moved up to 1.5mg after two weeks, and have been on 2.0mg for a few days now.

I had some skin sensitivity in my armpits and where my socks and underwear dig in. Interestingly, that’s actually gone away since I moved up to 2.0mg

thats amazing results! Not on reta but jumped on here to see what ppl are experiencing, thx for the thread

Been on reta 7/8 months, lost 95lbs. currently on 6mg a week but experiencing itchiness and irritability around wrists and neck. nothing I can’t handle but it’s annoying

45 pounds since 9/2/25.

Helped me get my mind right and think about what I’m shoving down my pie hole. Also brought awareness about other peptides and supplements, which in turn has led me to using it as an accessory to keeping other things at bay omw to reach 10% bf.

It’s taught me consistency is key. Stick to a plan. The initial wave of your body changing, can be trying. But in the end it’s worth it. No pain, no gain.

45 lbs since mid Aug. 3mg twice a week. 25 more to go. 56/F, start weight 215, current weight 170 - few mild reactions. Loose skin on arms, neck and belly are what I notice most. Belly fat the hardest to lose. Feel a tons better. Will see what my overall heath is after my yearly checkup on Monday. Hoping my blood pressure numbers are way better!

4 weeks on. Currently at 3mg. No weight loss. Sleeplessness, acid reflux, and heart rate spikes.

I have been on reta 4 months and down 65 pounds. Please post your results
I have been on Reta 7 months and lost 50 pounds. I started at 1.5 then went to 2.5 the next month. I stayed at 2.5 for 4 months. Then to 4, now I will go to 5 an see how that goes. My goal is 150. I have 15 more pounds to lose.

Are you referring at injection site?
no, just like skin feeling kinda painful all over when it gets touched in certain ways, shirts temp changes stuff like that. I'm nearing 12 weeks and I think it's finally going away for me.

I was on Reta for 8 weeks, first week 1mg bumped it up to 1mg twice a week then the 3rd week 1mg 3 times a week for 8 weeks. I was weighing 105kg which was mainly muscle and dropped down to 95kg. Lost a bit of muscle which I didn’t mind but the best part was the reduction of inflammation I’m my body. Now I move better. Joints feel better. Only downfall was I lost a lot of strength during the process

Kind of on the same boat. WHen you say you lost muscle are you referring to strength during exercises or visible muscle loss?

I lost visible muscle and lost strength during exercise but now that that I have been off for a few weeks my strength is starting to creep back in. Are you having the same issue?

are you having the skin sensitivity issues?
I can take no more than 6mg/week or I get terrible allodynia all over. I now pin 2mg every 3rd day and this gives me decent results. I wouldn’t mind taking more, as I’m only losing about .25lbs/week, but I don’t have much left to lose and I have to keep the allodynia at bay because it’s horrible and keeps me awake all night.

My friend had the same, only when she started taking it and it went away with in a week. She is now at 5mg a week with no problem

I started in October and am down 30 pounds. I try my best to follow the dosing schedule of the clinical trials. Just hit 8mg but that is rough. Sulphur burps and diarrhea bad. This week I'm splitting to 4mg twice a week.

I’ve never had sulphur burps on Reta, but with Sema they were really bad for me. Just the all around indigestion was bad, I couldn’t take it. I had great weight loss with Tirz, but the anhedonia was bad and I just had no energy, so I lost about 25 pounds with that and stopped taking it. I’ve had great results with Reta and my only issue is the severe skin sensitivity. I had about 40 lbs to lose overall and I’m about 10 away from my goal now. It’s very slow to come off, but I’m also trying to recomp, so trying to get enough protein in to keep the muscle mass and lean out a bit. Slow and steady wins the race. My goal is to get there by the middle of May which I think is realistic for me.

What mg are you running

I’ve officially completed weight loss into recomp, and now going into bulk where I’ll titrate down from 4mg 2x/wk, to 1-1.5mg 2x/wk for maintenance.

Start 9/2/25 initial weight loss that went into recomp/cut
End 1/12/26
255-207lbs. Friday morning.

Tried to hit 2000 cals even though it was hard af just getting my g/lbs of protein. That was the key for me. Being in a huge deficit at least getting as close to that as possible which sucked when I was 250 lbs lol. Also, staying hydrated was huge. As the doses got higher hypo sides would come in. Always had a bag of trail mix with me during the day.

Now for 12 weeks I will go down 3mg 2x/wk for 2 weeks, then 2mg 2x/wk for 2 weeks and end somewhere between 1-1.5mg 2x/wk to try and bulk and build back some muscle. Hopefully my bg markers stay in tact as they’ve been awesome at 8mg/wk lol. Would like to get somewhere in the range if 220-225 before next cut.. beginning of April.

What a journey it’s been. Reta has changed my life and guided me to not only being in tune with my body, but health and dieting right. Now during bulk I’m upping calories from 2000-3000. Tried it out today. Fell short lol. Was full af by early afternoon. Settled for a protein shake early evening and still fell short by 300 cals!

Notable supplements that worked for me. Psyllium Husk (10g), NAC (1800mg), Magnesium Glycinate (410mg), l-citrulline (6-8g), l-carnitine (3-5g)
