Absolute game changer.

Before we get into the meat and potatoes, let me explain my timeline.

I sat 260 pounds as of November 2024, and got down to 205 pounds (glp-free) as of February 4th 2025

Started 2/4 for reference, 17%+ body fat

Decided to stick myself with .5mg of Reta on that 4th, and honestly really glad I did. I titrated up one week at a time, .5 at a time. Food noise? Eviscerated. Was feeling full on very little food, but I made sure to absolutely lock down the diet, locking in my protein and calorie intake. Was sitting 1,700-1,900 consistently, knowing my maintenance was about 2,200+. Week two I was up to 1mg, 1x a week. Stayed there for a while, felt extremely good. Weight steadily started to melt off, 3/4 I sat 192lbs. Food noise never really came back, but obviously it was a little less intense initial suppression.

Around this time, around a month and half, I decided to up my dose of Reta to 2mg. The once a week pin was good, but the hunger crept back 5-6 days after my pin, so I switched to 2 pins a week. This solved my problem.

During this second month my weight jumped around, despite me still being extremely consistent. I was up to 193lb then back down to 190lbs pretty much all of march. My thoughts is that my body was recomping, and I was still losing fat, just at a slower level, with a small increase in muscle. I continued to stay consistent with my calories and protein.

Date 4/1 weight 186lbs

My third month was the breakthrough month, as very visible changes were starting reveal. I upped my Reta to 1mg 2x per week to 2mg 2x per week, for no particular reason I believe, possibly due to hunger, but again it was very minimal if any. Added triz (1mg) as well. Now because I had some extra money, I decided to order to Tesamorelin and ipamorelin to pair with each other, and I started that 4/8.

Now looking back, I probably didn’t need to hop on these, but they definitely didn’t hurt my progress. It most likely was a waste of money, as at this point I was around 14-15% body fat, while I have a good amount of visceral fat, it’s probably not enough to wager the use of Tesa. I still use it, but don’t plan on buying any more. My dose started at 1mg for two days, since then it’s been 2mg tesa every night with 300mcg ipa. I also took a morning ipa shot (300mcg)

By the end of the month, I was down to 177lbs, and my loss stayed consistent. Now through May, I started to approach 170, and as of today, I’m 165lbs.

I’m probably around 11-12% body fat now, and I literally can see my abs for the first time in my life.

My relationship with food has also changed dramatically, as I’m no longer afraid of certain foods. As weird as it sounds, Reta taught me that I can have sweets and cravings, I just have to control myself and know when to stop. I can have 3 mini cookies, I just can’t eat the whole container. On Reta, it’s almost impossible to binge, unless you force yourself, which was something I struggled with before. I haven’t binged since January/feb, when I started. I’ve only had one or two days I’ve gone over my calories, with my largest one being 1,000 cals over. This one day was around when I was pinning Reta 1x a week, and I folded just a tad when the hunger started creeping back lol.

Overall, extremely proud of what I’ve accomplished so far, and extremely excited for the next 3 months.

95lb/36.5% in ~6.5 months is pretty spectacular, that’s ~1.3%/week.

How are you measuring body fat?
I measure by pinching the skin, lower abdomen and inner leg, to see skin thickness. I measure in those places mostly because I unfortunately tend to store most of my stubborn fat there lol.

Thanks for sharing. Love the timeline and the description of what you did and your results.

Congratulations, that's incredible! So happy to hear about all your progress, scale & non-scale victories!

I also really struggled with food noise for the longest time and tirz also gave me that hard-to-describe fearlessness you mentioned!

My very first dose, I was leaving the house and realized I suddenly wasn't afraid of getting hungry/hangry - not that I was ever consciously fearful of this, but just realizing that I had unintentionally created eating patterns (pre-outing eating & whatnot) around this overly protective mindset alone was so freeing! It's just incredible what a lil pinning has done for me - physically AND mentally.

Congrats again, keep up the great work!

It's a joy to read that kind of reports. It motivates and gives a confidence the aproach we take regarding peps is right and solid. Congrats mate.

Great work mate, amazing to see the journey and goals hit.

Considering adding Tesa to my Reta mix
