The appetite suppression is way overrated than what some people say. The water weight I lost is noticeable in the morning. I started my dose at 1.5 mg / first week and just did the same dose today, and will continue to do so until week 5 where I will double my dose. I know it takes a month for one to see results, when do you know the results are there though? Also, is it possible to get lean muscle on my shoulders in the gym and also lower my body fat %?

It depends if this is your first weight loss peptide. If it's your first you should notice results at a lower dose but if not probably going to take titrating up to around 8 to get results. I started at 1 mg for 2 weeks because I was worried about the increase in heart rate ( sema caused me a big increase.) After 2 weeks I just followed the trial schedule ( up 2 mgs every 4 weeks.) I started to feel it at 6 mg but 8 mg is where all the weight fell off.

You'd be better off titrating to the trial schedule. They put in the hard work, to find the best dose schedule, so you didn't have to!

Appetite suppression is one thing but still need to track what you eat.

If you are wanting to increase shoulder muscle that's where you need to put in the work and increase protein. Be specific in the types of lifts to get the best out of your time, making sure you get a good stretch on the eccentric part of the movement

Are you just on Reta? Anything else?

Working out and protein will be your best friend. I have an athletic build from my earlier years and off and on periods of working out up until I got serious. Down 44 lbs since 9/2/25. I was on TRT 3 years prior though with no working out. Titrated up from 500mcg eod, to now I’m at 4mg 2x/wk. it was a God send for me.

45, M, started 255, current 211, bf% 15.6

Didn’t get my starting BF %, but I’m sure it was low 20’s. Most accurate out to date I have was I was 232.9 and 17.7% on 10/12/25.

From my experience with Reta the appetite suppression can be on the milder side. Given it's the only GLP ive ever taken I have nothing to compare it to, however. But from what I've read many seem to think that Reta is the one with the least appetite suppression. Everyone will be different though. At the dose your currently taking you are likely to not get much of the suppression anyways. I started at 2mg and bumped to 4mg rather quickly. Started noticing it more at that dose. 6 months later and I am at 10mg per week. Once you get into the 6-8 range you will also see the benefits of a sped up metabolism and increased calorie/fat burning.

Currently only Reta, will begin injecting glow stack monday, maybe diuretics in a week to debloat face a little. Im currently 6 foot and a half, 177-180 pounds and around 21% bodyfat. My 3 mile is around 23 mins. My current protien intake is around 130-150 grams per day I'd estimate, I dry scoop 3 protein scoops of 25 g and eat only meat and fats and a little bit of carbs. My current strength for my workouts weight wise is attached here.

okay thank you. Are you able to put on muscle during this time that you lost body fat? I don't know if I'd ever go that high up due to me being relatively healthy currently as a young adult.

Yeah I have put on muscle. I also am on TRT and HGH so that obviously helps though.

I manage to gain muscle mass without any supplements and lose up to 1 kg per week. However, I follow a rather specific protocol.

Day 1 - fasting and endurance exercises
Day 2 - depending on how I feel, I either fast or go back to eating. I try to fast for 36-48 hours.
Day 3 - I return to normal eating and focus on protein
Day 4 - I run
Day 5 - Strength training
Day 6 - I rest and increase my protein intake
Day 7 - The most intense strength training and lots of food, especially protein.

And so on every week

it's just very individual, you are only on 1,5 mg, that is low.
About appetite suppression: I think for me the appetite suppression kicked in around 6 mg, now I am on 8 mg, and it works just as well as tirz.
