Im taking this semi-seriously, interested in both short and long term outcomes/effects.

May upload pictures later, but Im a bit camera shy + OPSEC.
Me: M(31), 6'0" - 338 LBs this morning, may have food still in there but w/e.
LBM is somewhere between 211-218~(LOTS of Muscle, want to conserve as much as I can)
Slightly high BP, Hypothyroid but not being medicated for it atm.

Im not a goal weight person, but if I had to shoot for a range, the 20-24% marker Reta sees in the trials puts me around 250-265, which Id be thrilled with.

Do not plan on using GLP's permanantly, i think once I get weight down and reduce VAT I'll be able to medicate thyroid properly and before thyroid died on me I maintained weights pretty easily.

Working full time + Full time student(12 credit hours/semester) - Exercise regimen is borderline nonexistent, but have almost a decade of weightlifting/BBing and have a few PED cycles under my belt. Curious to see my results without training.

Diet: Low fat/high protein (I shoot for 22-2400~ cals/day, tryiong to gurantee at least 150 P)

(Before anyone yells about lifestyle: Im an ISSA CPT, been doing this for years, I get it. Im just going through a weird place in life and Im doing the best I can)

Stack:

2mg Reta/week
250mg Test E/week
20mg Olmesartan/daily (for BP)

and I just added 25~ mcg T3 Daily. will maintain based on efficacy.

This is mostly just for me to document my own journey, but open to comments/recommendations and all that jazz. I might tell you to fuck off but feel free to let me know if you think Im an idiot 😀

EDIT: Not a doctor or medical professional, this is not advice, nor is this an admission or confession to any violations real or implied. Just a guy looking to improve his bloodline and live a bit longer. Don't try this at home.

Have you been on T3 before? That's a pretty high starting dose. It takes about a week to reach steady state, so you might notice issues as you ramp up. I'd personally start smaller, but I use it for actually low thyroid.

You may want to look into telmisartan for BP, it has the most favourable metabolic profile amongst all the BP meds. It activates AMPK which helps with metabolism and muscle energy.

Week 1: First shot saturday PM before bed. slight soreness around injection site for a few hours. weird but went away. Woke up next day with a rager of a headache, required a half gallon f water, a reign, and 3 tylenol to subside. hunger near zero already.

This morning I had to force down half a leftover burger from dinner the other night, Im a bit low energy, but Im not even kind of hungry. no Idea if Im going to touch the grilled chicken and potatoes I brought for lunch. heres to the rest of the week!

I have, both NDT and straight T3. I got it from SSA so Im monitoring my rhr and will adjust as needed, I titrated up from 6~ and 12.5~ over the last week or so. no real faith in how accurate their dosage is, so im being careful with it.

Im on prescription Olmesartan - I compared the two and Olm is a bit more effective but telmi can be great too, and im between GP's so may switch to telmi when I run out.

I asked ChatGPT to compare them, and Telmisartan is the clear winner for weight loss. Just a FYI, as I researched this extensively before too and ended up switching.

But anyways, good luck! I started reta recently too, but don't have a lot of weight loss yet.

Ahh OK! So Im not trying to take the BP meds for weight loss, Im just using them to get my BP healthy - ideally once Ive dropped a BIT of the weight I can come off of the ARB. It wasnt an issue until about a year ago. That will be the first thing I stop taking hopefully.
