I came across this user report and thought it was an interesting experience to share here:

I accidentally injected an entire 30mg vial of Retatrutide in one go (details in my original post if you’re curious). In short: I reconstituted the vial with 2mL of solution and injected all 200 units (two full syringes).

Side Effects:
• No nausea/vomiting: I had Zofran on hand and took it at the first sign of stomach discomfort, so that helped.

• Appetite: For the first 10 days, I basically couldn’t eat. Last week I got in maybe 1300 calories total. I dropped 7lbs in 7 days. I only started being able to eat a bit more this Monday, but even then, just a few bites feels like I’ve eaten a full meal.

• Energy: As you’d expect with that little food, constant lightheadedness, lethargy, zero energy.

• Allodynia (nerve pain): This was by far the worst side effect. For 7 days straight, even lying in bed hurt. I couldn’t sleep, barely moved, and had to take the week off work. Walking was excruciating. Only in the last few days has it started to improve, and every day since then has been a bit better than the last.

• Joint pain: It’s been there, but honestly overshadowed by the allodynia.

I’ve lost about 10lbs total. Walking, sleeping, and even wearing clothes are still uncomfortable, but it’s improving each day.

Lesson learned: Label every vial as soon as it arrives. Slow down. Double-check everything.

I honestly struggle to understand how this can happen. What peptide would someone inject the entire vial at once? Maybe SS-31? What were they thinking when they injected 2ml of liquid into themselves? Was it deliberate?
He said he thought it was 10mg mots-c. still I don't get why someone would dilute it with 2ml and take even motsc all at once. I do wonder if the person is trolling.

Agree his whole story about mistaking it for a different peptide was crazy and suspect.

Thank you @Lucas for posting the update. I’ve been hoping to see one on the Reddit forum but was also sick of looking for it.

Mots-c you can take up to 15mg, you start low dose then up to 15mg, so I can see him taking 10mg at once, I would have mixed it with 1ml if taking that much.

We had someone here on the Forum that mixed his vials, not sure what he did to sort his mess.
But i know people told him to either test it or discard it.

Don't assume this won't happen to you. Assume it will. Early in my pep journey, I accepted that this might. So I began color coding vials with stickers immediately upon arrival. Red stickers for Reta. Nothing else gets a red sticker. The only thing I don't color code is GHK, for obvi reasons. Also, the more peps in your stack, the more likely you're to screw up.

The other thing you might do is filter it into a 5 ml vial. Separate it by size. I've done this too. Because I can't afford to be in bed for 10 days.

There are several people on the forum who are on 10mg tirz and buy it in 10mg per vial kits. They take the entire vial at once.

If frickyeahbby is not trolling, I am glad he is ok, and find his feedback informative.
A very good reminder. Impressive how much abuse the human body can take.

Bumping this thread with a new thought:

Should we have any special precautions for using higher dose vials? Besides triple or quadruple checking everything?

An extreme example: Like if you are used to using T20 and are now on T100?

Triple check your math, assume it's a good 10-15% overdosed, adjust slightly and fire away. No difference between concentration if ur bac and math is on point.

I think it's also another good excuse to spread doses to twice a week (which would also help if there is a wrong peptide situation with the vendor). And to maybe even print the labels before we get the vials. Less time to lose the COA.

There are almost a dozen posts a week over there about people overdosing on Reta. I can only guess that it's the Tiktok kids that want to get in on being part of the cool crowd. What 20 YO needs a GLP anyway? Hit the gym. If they're very obese, I could see it, but even then, c'mon. I counted 15 of those posts in just the last week and I wasn't even looking for them. The majority of them don't even know what a dosing calculator is and they're probably just watching a clip of someone else doing it.

You have to have a controlled environment and set things up with your full attention. I label my vials when I get them and triple check my recon measurements, then I place everything in front of me before I start. Phone down, door closed, and then proceed. It's either a lack of knowledge or a lack of attention that gets people in trouble.

Yeah I had to leave that sub a couple days ago. Just worse and worse every day. Like "I'm 19m 6' 155lbs , How much reta to make my face less fat?"

OK. I'm gonna vent. I AM SICK and F'N tired of reddit's "RETA IS THE GREATEST" POSTS and pics of young people flexing in the mirror as they proclaim the wonders of reta...only to scroll though to find out that it's ALMOST ALWAYS SOME CLOWN on Testosterone...with a side of Reta going. F'n ridiculous. The only thing I can surmise is that they're young narcissists who no longer get validated from the other trt gym bros running gear and seek it at the Reta sub.
Rant off.

I had to leave too. Everyday it was literally the same thing "I'm a 18, 5'6 and weigh a 120lbs....How much mg of bac water do I put in the syringe to get a 100 units.." like dumbass questions from mostly young people who are normal weight or slightly overweight (not obese) where you can tell the person knows 0 math and has done 0 research and has no business taking anything. The mods are non-existent over there too.

The whole place is getting on my nerves. I got banned from /Peptides for saying this: "Go to glp1forum dot com. They have suppliers available there". No names, no links. Why? Mods said I used the words "supplier" and "available" and that's against the rules, but no where does it say that. Only names are against the rule. The kids aren't just clueless, they're also running some of the subs. I tried helping the newbies.

Or a side of 14 other Peptides and Oils, right? How do they know what the cause is when they finally puke for 3 days straight? Some of these stacks are just crazy. But YOLO, you be you.

Exactly this! As a fat, almost 40 yo, mom of 3 it’s annoying. There’s so much bro science in there it’s astounding.

It’s all about instant gratification for the 40 and under crowd. I see this with people at work. I will hire a Generation X or older every time. I quit hiring young people about 5 years ago. I’d rather have a 50 year old with a GED then a 30 year old with a Masters Degree.
