About the only thing I look at on Reddit is the Retatrutide Trial group. Someone who claims to be in the trial posted a supposedly confidential schedule from EL that they are extending the trials from 80 weeks to 104 weeks. The interesting thing (if true) is that over the 24 weeks they are going to titrate every level up to 12mg, even the placebo group. The speculation was that EL wanted to goose the numbers to get them over 30% weight loss. Maybe that was it. What I found interesting is that it also might be the first real test of the theory that if you plateau on a lower level (e.g. 4 mg), you can restart the weight loss by going to a higher level. That seems to be the internet consensus, but I have never seen any actual data on it.
Another topic of interest is that there must not be any serious adverse events if they are extending the trials. If they were, they would be stopping the trials, not extending them.
You can look up new posts on Reddit (r/RetatrutideTrial). I won't copy the information here, especially since the published documents on Reddit say they are confidential information from EL.
